Chapter 4 - Salma becomes Muslim

The next day, early in the morning,

Abdul Shams was lying on the roof of his house in a state of semi-sleep, listening to the charming sound of the call to prayer. When her eyes opened after some time, Salma was still fast asleep.

Abdul Shams woke him up and came downstairs with the intention of taking the morning air.

Abul Hasan's companions were standing behind him with a sheet spread on the dew grass.

Abul Hasan recited a few verses after Surah Fatiha in a very charming voice.

The words of the Holy Quran stirred the heart of Abdul Shams.

His neighboring Arabs also came close to him and the youth of their nation began to watch the ritual of worship with interest.

After bowing and prostrating, until the second rak'at, Abd al-Shams had a rapture-like feeling. He slowly stepped towards the worshippers, approached, bowed, stopped and ran away under a cry of emotion and stood in line. His colleagues followed suit.

At the end of the prayer, Abul Hasan got up and hugged Abdul Shams.

Abdul Shams's eyes were filled with tears of joy.

Abul Hasan and his companions congratulated him.

Abdul Shams said it was a magic in your language tell me something else?

Abul Hasan replied. It was not my voice.

It was the word of ALLAH.

Abdul Shams said,

"Indeed, this cannot be the word of any human being."

Tell me,

Abul Hasan pointed to one of his companions, Talha.

Talha was the Hafiz of the Qur'an.

The Arabs sat around him.

Talha recited Surah Yasin.

Abdul Shams and his companions will be moved by the holy words of the Holy Quran and Talha's heart-warming voice.

After the recitation,

Abul Hasan invited them to Islam by highlighting the life of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and various aspects of Islam.

Abdul Shams and his companions, who had been listening to the stories of the greatness of the Arabs for a while, accepted the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He had acknowledged the greatness of the Prophet. After the preaching of Abul Hasan, he believed in the truth of Islam. After reciting the Kalima Tawheed, Abdul Shams preferred the name Abdullah for himself.

Salma was standing with the support of a coconut tree watching all these events.

She hesitantly went forward and said to her father,

Father, can women also become Muslims?

Abdullah looked at Abul Hasan while smiling and he said.

God's mercy is the same for women and men.

Salma said, change this name too!

I also want to become a Muslim.

Abul Hasan said this is your name, just read the word!

Salma recited the word and everyone raised their hands to pray for her.

There were clouds in the sky.

Suddenly it started raining heavily and these people went into a room.

After a while, the rain stopped and Dilip Singh came and informed that King(raja) is waiting for you today.

Abul Hasan left his companions there and joined Dilip Singh.

At noon, Abul Hasan returned and told his companions that the King(raja) and some chiefs had expressed their desire to buy more Arabian horses.

Therefore, our ship will leave on the fourth day.
