''She's asleep right?'' Remus asked.
It was the dead of the night, the time where every member of the household was asleep. The only people who seemed to be awake were Remus, Brett and the night guards. Aside from them, everyone was fast asleep.
''Yes.'' Brett said, finally.
''Whew! I was scared when I saw her face-to-face with Mark. I know what Mark can do and my greatest fear was that he would hurt her beyond recovery.'' Remus said.
''Not on my watch. That is something you must know. I will never allow any harm to come to Sylvia as long as i'm here, that's not possible.'' Brett said.
''You know, I don't just get it. Why is he doing all of this, what really is his aim in all of this?'' Remus said.
