She was never one to be made speechless easily but he knew just how to do that and he even seemed like he was enjoying it. It made her feel like he was out to get her and this greatly bothered her.
She also didn't like the fact that he kept talking to her like they have been friends for years when they only just started to speak to each other recently. She didn't like the fact that he was being so friendly with her just because she had given him the right to have a husband.
She tried shutting her eyes again but she just couldn't shut them for a few minutes without recalling how Scott had laughed at her earlier and made her feel like a complete fool.
"You will never get to me Scott. That will never happen," she muttered to herself.
