Winter arrived as flakes of snow fell from the sky softly as if it was showering flowers on the ground, one after another until the land of Findara turned white. It was a winter morning, the rising sun cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. Golden fingers of sunlight lit up the scene.
The just-risen sun shone softly on the palace grounds, bringing with it a flurry of early-morning activity. Three years had passed now after Merek and Anne's wedding, and seven years after the king perished. Findara was still being ruled by Ara, the citizens of Findara lived harmoniously under her command. She was a great queen.
However, no one knew how much pain Ara had gone through for the past seven years after losing her husband, living everyday without him was like a punishment.
