"Shit!"
Ou Lang rode his horse as fast as he can but the palace was still far away. Even though the moon was not that bright that night, it still shone a bit of light. But, slowly, his became darker and black.
Bang! The horse cried and ran away leaving Ou Lang alone in the forest. His body rolled in the bushes – Drip…with blood flowing out from his head.

Ou Lang opened his eyes. His vision was limited, he only saw the darkness. His eyes were forced to open widely – it made him uncomfortable. However, he let it be. He looked around at every edge. Luckily, small orange light caught his eyes far from where he sat. He now knew where he is.
"Ugh!" he groaned. With the help of the big tree, he stood up using his right hand to support his weak body. His head was spinning and his vision suddenly became blurry. He shook his head to clear his mind and grasp his situation.
Tap. Tap.
"Blood?" Ou Lang finally realized what situation he was in and remembered how he fainted and banged the tree in the forest.
His trembling hands wiped the blood, "Shit!"

3 hours before,
Ou Lang, the south protector's second division commander was rushing to the palace with his horse to deliver the news – A disaster falls upon the south border. It had been intruded. As the commander, he protects the border 24 hours without even having time to play peace. Similar to his comrades, the commanders in other divisions, they all protect the border with all their might.
The border they put their life on is fallen in a flash right before their eyes. The absence of their general made them make it worse. They felt panicked when everything happens so fast – they failed to properly take quick action. Even so, they needed to inform their general, General Ying and the emperor because the intruder was not someone they had predicted.
A big group of martial artists Hun Gin suddenly crush in with a group of the beast. It is not an easy problem they can handle themselves because Hun Gin is a cannibal tribe that eats human flesh freshly or after killing them – They got no favour towards humans and had no rationality.
Thus, a state of emergency was announced. Nearby villagers were told to run for their own life instantly and in the midst of the chaos, all of the commanders from 1 to 5 divisions agreed to send him to the palace to inform their general about the situation.
They had it all planned well. He just needs to flee while other commanders and the soldiers hold the intruders, Hun Gin and the beasts at the border – It was a perfect plan. Nobody will notice if one person were missing when they are all busy fighting.
Ou Lang aggrieved, "Stupid! Fuck, fuck, fuck!" He punched his left leg again and again when remembering what happened after that.
He thought it was a perfect plan but he was wrong. At that time, when he sneaked out to get his horse, he let his guard down. He did not realize there was a trap at the stable. The Hun Gin already trespass their territory but nobody notices.
The trap caught his left leg. Several sharp long metals pierced his skin. He screamed out of shock and the sudden pain. Thanks to that, one of the Hun Gin was alert and end up chasing him along the way. He was not that weak martial artist so he succeeded in getting the horse and run away.
Unfortunately, because of his injured leg, it slowed him down. The sharp metals that pierced through his skin ended up hurting his horse too. Still, he did his best to surpass the pain. He even did several tricks which endanger his own life in order to shake off those Hun Gin's tracker. Since he was entrusted with an important mission and his comrades' lives depended on him, he could not act selfish.
'They sacrificed themselves too at the border…'
Huff. Huff. Ou Lang took a heavy breath while his hand was busy tying a rag he tore from his cloth around his head where the wound was to stop the bleeding.
He looked again at the orange light, 'How many days has it been? Is it the same day? My comrades, they…are they…still live? Are all the villagers able to run safely?' The fire at the border addled his mind.
"Shit! Why does this happen when the general's not here!" He pulled out the sharp metals from his leg slowly one by one. The pain was too much, he bit his clothes to suppress the pain.
Fuh...
He was relieved he could get the metals out of his leg, but he did not have times to take a break. Zapp! He threw one of the metals straight above his head right away.
"Ug—"
Bam! A man fell—the Hun Gin that had been chasing him since before. The sharp metal pierced his chest.
Ou Lang searched the dead body and take the swords with him since he could not find his own sword anywhere around him. After checking the dead body thoroughly, Ou Lang hurriedly left the forest. He had a bad feeling.

The current situation, at Guāng Hall – Royal court,
The court was stunned by the sudden intrusion. They were ready to end the meeting.
"Pardon my intrusion Your Majesty, south...south border being intruded. Please, send reinforcement right away!" The man kneeled and bowed his head on the floor with a desperate tone. His clothes were all rugged. Not even a tiny soldier's armour could be seen.
"Sir, you can't suddenly come here like this! This will result in you get behead!" Several guards came running into the hall. They complained to the man who burst into the court meeting but that man did not move an inch, he was waiting for the emperor.
"Ou Lang?" Ying Jian looked at his subordinate's poor condition with a puzzled face.
Ou Lang lifted his head. He gripped his hand tightly. "General! South...south-"
"How dare you, burst in like that and not respect the emperor with your talk, where is your manner?!" The head guard pulled him to take him out of the hall but Ou Lang strongly opposed them.
