The man turned his head, "Lutong, Your Highness." He answered shortly after recognising the person who asked him.
Lutong was well aware someone was approaching him but he thought it was his organization member. The tip of his eyes peeked towards the back, 'Am I going too fast?'.
He paced down his speed a bit. He noticed a gap between him and the other group members that were supposed to guard the party front line with him. Even though it was not a big gap, it holds him back from doing as he pleased
'They're not that far but she might be mad if we don't go as planned and stay out of positions.' Sighed Lutong lightly under the black veil.
Mang We Jing smirked at the answer he got. 'It's not bad, he knows I am a prince when I just got back here. They also build quite a capable force within the time I was gone. They had talented in information, huh?'
"Their attitude...also not rough like usual martial artists…. they pay respect to whom they should. Is their leader a noble?'
'Ha! They're not like what I had imagined! They're not just a bunch of arrogant trash who are solely proud of their power!'
Mang We Jing followed Lutong closely, 'Based on the court yesterday, it looks like they never plead faith under royals, who's behind them?' Hmm…it seems I need to watch them a bit more before I make a decision. Destroy them...or tame them.'
"Lutong, where the man before go? Also, tell me, what's your plan? We need to discuss the strategy first before making any moves. Hun Gin is not an easy opponent."
"Pardon me, Your Highness."
"Huh?" His browed twitched.
"Stop!" Lutong's voice echoed loudly. He stopped and opened his arm left and right as a sign to ask all of the soldiers to stop.
Lutong was satisfied with what he saw. All of his members that should protect the front seem successful in their job. They all stay in their position as planned. He nodded with a smile.
After confirming all go as planned, he focused on the border right in front of him so they could do it quickly - Swoosh. They moved their hand in that formation that hardly could be explained and understood by anyone.
'This martial art should not be known by anyone else, but it's okay since the master is the only one who knows this. Of course, it's a martial art made by her...' thought Lutong.
'But, will this be okay? The third prince is the warrior prince, it will be difficult if he recognizes and is able to do this too.' Still, Lutong felt unsettled.
Mang We Jing and the soldiers looked in the same place as him when they saw him acting up suddenly - that weird action put them on alert. The soldiers tensely waited for an order from the third prince – all eyes were on him. However, the reply is nothing much. They were asked to only observe the situation – no sense of nervousness came out from the third prince.
Bam. Bam. Bam.
The continuous explosion left dark smoke filling up the sky, it could be seen by all
Ying Jian, who followed both of them from the back spoke up as soon as he arrived, "What's the meaning of this, sir?"
"I am sorry, Your Highness, General Ying Jian, we already make the plan ahead of you. We should have discussed with you two first but the situation-"
"That's not what I mean, sir! My men were still there protecting the border! How can you just do that?!" Ying Jian's face was red. He gritted his teeth – furious with the sight he witnessed at the moment.
Lutong tilted his head, 'I think I need to explain more,' he opened his mouth, "Ge-"
Ying Jian unsheathed his sword and pointed it towards Lutong but Lutong did not flinch a bit, he stayed unmoved and silent. He lost interest to explained because his talk was cut off.
"Wait, General Ying." Mang We Jing tried to calm down Ying Jian.
"I thought you come here to help us, Lutong. Now tell me, what's the meaning of this? You just make the situation worsen." Mang We Jing asked calmly.
After a short silence, Lutong finally felt like talking. However, he grinned behind the black cloth that covered almost all of his face except the eyes, "Your Highness, this is the only method we can do right now if not, we will lose the border."
As Ying Jian thrust his sword at Lutong's chest, his sword was countered by someone, 'What?!' he looked at him sharply.
"It's you, the man from before, you are the one who makes the explosion, right? Do you know what have you done?" Ying Jian asked with a cold tone while adjusting his grip on the sword which almost fall earlier because of that man he was talking to.
In that male appearance, Mu Xinyi lowered his head and greet them with a baritone - sounded like a man's voice, completely hiding her identity as a woman, "Your Highness third prince, General Ying, Pinang greet both of you."
"Don't act nice! Tell us now, why did you do that?! All of my people died because of you!" Ying Jian fiercely expressed himself.
Mu Xinyi glanced at Lutong. Lutong turned his head away. Then she looked back at Ying Jian.
She sighed lightly, "Your men were not at the border. They already left the border last night. All the nearby villages too, all of them safe and alive."
"...what do you mean?"
'Huh?' Mu Xinyi once again looked at Lutong, she was confused by the situation. Lutong shrugged his shoulder.
Again, she sighed lightly, "General Ying, you send us a letter two days ago, asking for helps right away saying it was an emergency. So, we already sent some of our people to get your men to a safe place.
"So now, they are all in a safe place. It may be our fault for not discussing this with you first, but you said it was a dire situation and we can take any action."
Mang We Jing observed Pinang, he touched his chin, 'Something's not right here...but he doesn't seem to be lying.'
"...two days? Whom are you trying to fool?" Ying Jian snicker, "My man just informs me yesterday!"
"Ehem! Ehem!" Ou Lang came from behind. He scratched his face while looking at those four people that were in the heat of discussion—Third prince Mang We Jing, Lutong, Pinang and General Ying.
Ou Lang put a silly smile, "General...It-it was me, I am the one who sent that letter to them, haha..."
"...what?"
