Chereads / Possessed By The Mafia Devil / Chapter 16 - I'm not gay

Chapter 16 - I'm not gay

The devil didn't utter a word.

With his back turned, he acted as if there was no one standing behind him.

“I'm back,” Kon said, a bit more insistently.

The devil rose from the cushion when he heard Kon's words.

“Why are you back?” He asked in a calm voice.

Kon gulped. Not in fear, but at the sight of the devil's imposing figure.

“You said….” Kon trailed off, not knowing what to answer.

Beforehand he came here, he had already planned on what to answer should the devil question him.

But right now, his tongue seemed to have clung to the roof of his mouth, refusing to say a thing.

“What did I say?” With his brows raised in question, the Devil Walked over to where Kon was. “Why are you back?”

Kon swallowed.

“The week grace, you allocated to me, has been exhausted. And I'm yet to fulfil anything.”

“So?” The devil arched a brow.

“I'm back.” Kon swallowed. “I don't know how else to pay you back. So, I came to ask if I can work for you?”

“Work for me?” The devil scoffed. “Did he put you up to this?” He asked.

“Who?” Kon wrinkled his brows. “Who are you talking about?”

“The boy you were kissing. Did he put you up to this?”

“Who are you talking about?” Kon asked, before the question fully registered in his mind. “No, wait a minute, why will I kiss another boy?”

“Don't play dumb with me!” The devil sneered. “I know he was the one who put you up to this. You shouldn't—”

“I'm not gay. If I should kiss someone, it should be a girl.”

“A girl?” The devil's eyes turned red in anger. “Tell me, can a girl kiss you this way?”

Before Kon could react, the devil wrapped his hand around him and brought him closer.

“What—”

The devil cut his words short, by locking their mouth, together.

Kon tried to struggle out of the Devil's hold, but it was impossible.

He clamped his teeth on his lips, stubbornly keeping them short. Yet, it only took the Devil a light nib, to get him to open his mouth.

The devil's tongue slipped into Kon's mouth, and he bit hard.

“Fuck!”

The devil pushed Kon.

He covered a palm on his mouth. Shocking pains racked through his body.

“That will show you not to do something like that, ever again.

Not for the first time, devil. I'm not gay!” Kon stamped his feet on the ground, angered at the thought of being treated as gay.

He's not gay, but straight!

“Gay?” The devil chuckled. “It doesn't matter, Kon.” He licked his lips.

His tongue was still throbbing, but he didn't mind.

The devil walked over to where Kon was. “I don't want you to work for me, Kon. You might pretend you don't know what I want from you, but I know you know.” The devil chuckled.

“I'm here to work for you.” Kon balled his hand into fists. “I don't care how long it takes for me to work my debts off. All I request from you is to allow me to complete my studies.”

Kon gritted his teeth in anger.

He felt the urge to kick the devil and leave.

But he didn't do that.

Kon might be stupid, but not stupid enough to know that his future lies in the hands of the devil.

He's a debtor.

“You don't have to worry about that. I'm not against your schooling.”

“Then, it's settled. What do you want me to do?” Kon folded his arms and glared at the Devil.

“You know, you are the only one who stands straight in my presence.” The devil smirked. “I think that's what endeared me to you.”

“So?” Kon cocked his head.

“Scorpion will show you to your room.” The devil leaned close, to whisper into his ears. “Make yourself at home, Kon.” He said before he straightened up.

Kon froze.

Although he won't admit it, he felt a rush of excitement when he felt the devil's breath on him.

“I will get Scorpion to escort you.” The devil strode to the door. “I will see you before dinner, Kon.” He said before he left the room and gently closed the door behind him.

“Shit!”

Kon walked over to the cushion and plopped down on it.

“Damn that devil.” Kon placed his palm on his forehead and leaned on the cushion.

Kon sighed.

This wasn't how he envisioned his life to go.

He had a dream to travel the world after his studies, but it seemed he won't be able to do that.

There is no possibility that he might be allowed to attend college.

It seems he will have to work his arse off, to pay off a debt he didn't see a dime of.

His mother is probably out there, squandering the little money the devil gave to her, without a thought of her son, whom she left in the den of the Lion.

Now, he's left to pay a debt he knew nothing of.

However, that's not his main problem.

Not knowing what the devil wanted from him, is his concern.

The complexity of the devil confused him.

The door to the room opened, and Scorpion walked in.

He has changed his suit, for a more comfortable piece of black slacks and a tank top.

Yet, he looked formidable despite the simple clothes he was putting on.

Lost in his thoughts, Kon didn't notice Scorpion's approach, until he spoke.

“My Lord asked me to show you to your room.” He said in a formal voice.

“Oh,” Kon removed his palm from his face.

Though he didn't hear Scorpion's approach, he wasn't startled a bit.

“If you will follow me,” Scorpion said in a tight voice, almost expecting Kon to attack him as he did to the guards the devil sent to stop him, weeks ago.

“Of course, I will.” Kon rose from the cushion he was sitting on. “Where is the devil?” Kon glanced around the room, half expecting the devil to step out from the shadows.

“He has an important meeting to attend. I'm afraid you won't see him until the evening.” Scorpion tried to answer as politely as he could.

Part of the devil's command, before he left, was for Scorpion to treat Kon well.

“Hmm. The devil must be a very busy man.” Kon smirked, already thinking of ways to make this beneficial to him.

“That he is.”
