The devil never restricted Kon from going to school.
However, he wasn't allowed to go alone. The devil had his men take him to and fro school.
Yet, that's not the worst of it.
The worst was the devil's men, who kept him guard all day. He never got the chance to associate with any of his classmates, for he was guarded all day.
“Are you also going to follow me into the restroom?” He pursed his lips.
“It's an order from the master.” One of the guards said, in a not-so-friendly manner. “We will follow you anywhere you go.”
“That's ridiculous! How can you follow me everywhere I go?” Kon asked, pissed with not only the devil but himself.
“That's an order from the master.”
“Fuck your master!”
Enraged, Kon walked into one of the toilets and banged the door behind him.
The devil's men stood outside the door and patiently waited for him to exit.
Lin kept his distance throughout the day.
Even when Kon tried to strike up a conversation with him, he kept as much distance as he could from Kon, fearing what might happen should he be caught in a conversation with Kon.
It pissed Kon off, but he didn't do anything about it.
He knows Lin was only trying to save his neck.

“Master is out. He's not returning tonight.” Scorpion announced the moment Kon came down for lunch.
Since he returned from school, he has been indoors, pretending to write his assignments
“I didn't ask you about him.” Kon matched towards the dining room. “What am I having for dinner, tonight?” He plopped down on his favourite seat.
“I will ring the maids up,” Scorpion said before he left Kon to his thoughts.
Kon might have acted less concerned in front of Scorpion, But that's far from how he feels.
It bothered him that he has stayed for close to a week here, but haven't seen the devil since the first day he came here.
It feels as if the devil has abandoned him.
“I don't care. It's for the best. This way, I won't be bothered about the surprises he might spring up.”
Kon tried to convince himself that he doesn't care.
***********
Two weeks into his stay at the devil's house and Kon was convinced the devil have left him.
He hasn't seen a sign of the Devil in the house, and neither has he seen the devil's private car.
It was as if the Devil left the house for him, and relocated to another place.
“Why will he ask me to move in here, and abandon me?” Kon kicked a bottle lying around.
The thoughts of that infuriated him more than anything else has ever done.
“I will kill him with my bloody hands!” Kon vowed.
He kicked the innocent bottle once more.
“Do you have anywhere in mind, sir?” One of his guards asked.
It has been more than an hour since they came out to the pack. And Kon has been walking around with no destination in mind.
“Why will I do that?” Kon snapped at them.
He turned and resumed what he was doing. And that was kicking the life out of the innocent bottle.
“I don't care—”
The sound of a song caught his attention.
He listened closely to the sad song accompanied by a guitar.
The song spoke volumes. It was as if it tugged on his soul.
Without knowing what he was doing, Kon found himself going towards the direction he heard the song from.
He walked like a hypnotized animal until he reached the spot.
A young red hair sat on a bench. He has his right left crossed over his left, his hand on the guitar strings, and his eyes closed as if to let the melody wash over him.
Kon stood, rooted to the ground as he watched him.
Just like the mysterious singer, he was also locked in time.
“Bravo!” Kon clapped the moment the lyrics died down. “That was super!” He excitedly smiled.
“Thank you.” The man playing the guitar smiled. “I thought I was the only one here, but it turned out I was wrong.”
“It was a beautiful piece. How did you make such a beautiful melody!” Kon sat next to him, perplexing the guards who were at a loss on what to do.
********
“Today was a wonderful day!” Kon plopped down on the bed.
After this talk he had with the shy singer, they had a drink at one of the cafés next to the park.
It was better than Kon imagined it will be. He thought he will have to spend his evenings alone. But fate always has other plans.
“It's time to—”
The door to his room opened, and the Devil stepped in.
He was dressed in an all-red suit, with blue his tie as the only additional colour on him.
The devil's sharp glare met Kon's surprised one.
“What are you doing here?” Kon rose from his bed. He folded his arms and narrowed his eyes at the devil.
“What did you do today?” The devil loosened the tie around his neck and walked towards Kon.
“And what concern is that, of you?” Kon pursed his lips. “Why do you want to know what I did today?” He challenged the devil.
“I think I've given you enough privilege, and you thought to abuse it.” The devil closed the distance between them. “Giving you enough space was the worst mistake I made, Kon. Now, I will treat you like how you want to be treated. You will be leashed, and tied to my bed.”
“What are you saying?” Kon started to laugh.
“I will show you exactly what I'm talking about.” The devil locked his right hand around Kon's neck and pressed. “I left you for just a week, and you've made male friends already.”
“And what concern is that of yours?” Kon asked with a wild glint in his eyes. He doesn't look a bit scared of the devil.
His glare was sharp and unwavering.
“You are mine, Kon.”
The devil possessively said before he kissed Kon.
