It has been a week since I am here. I applied for some jobs at good companies for internship. Actually I could have started working at my dad's company directly but he said that I need at least two years of intership before working at our company. It would be fair for all the employees as well. And even it was same for my brother. So I agreed. Anyways in my world I was an experienced fashion designer. It wouldn't be any problem to me to work as an intern.
I actually agree with him. Other people work so hard to get a decent job in our company and just because I am the daughter of the president doesn't mean that I would get a job directly. If I work after two years of internship, then people at our company will respect me and not make fun of me saying that I used connections for the job. Though that is kinda true.
So, I applied for some famous companies of this world. I avoided the companies of Rustler and John. So today I wanted to explore this world and I planned to go for shopping. This villaness actually has a limitless credit card. It wouldn't be good if I don't spend some. I called Sarah but she was busy as she is a medical student. I don't get it how this villaness and Sarah became best friends. They are not even in the same faculty and career path. The novel didn't specify how they became best friends as it was only specific for female lead and her best friend's journey.
I wanted to go for shopping anyways. So I just thought of going alone. I took a quick shower and wore a white sleeveless shirt and blue jeans and a black outer. I wore a pair of white sneakers and a casual hand bag. Nothing that I wore was branded. I am just going for shopping and don't want to attract attention. I was not a rich person in my world and I only saw those branded clothes, bags and shoes on televisions and phones. Now that I am seeing them in my wardrobe it feels kind of weird.
I only applied some sunscreen, mascara amd chapstik. This villaness has a nice and clear skin so makeup is not much needed. I told mom that I was going for shopping. She was okay with it. So I took out my car and went to the mall. The gps of the car was not working. Then I used google maps. Thankfully it worked and I reached the mall.
I parked the car and went inside the building. It was a huge building with so many stores. I got excited. Then I started visiting stores for clothes. After buying many clothes I went to the shoes section. I could have ordered these stuffs online but it is no fun. I enjoy going for shopping and I am free anyways. I bought some shoes, makeup and jewellery. Both my hand were full of shopping bags. I was going to leave when I saw a teddy shop.
In my world I was obsessed with teddys. I had so many. But here this villaness doesn't even have one teddy. I am definately buying a teddy. A big one. I was single in my world so I was used to sleep while cuddling teddy.
I immediately went inside the teddy shop. There were lot's of teddys. I saw a huge teddy even taller than me. It was a light brown coloured teddy made up of soft material. I liked it. I bought it but it was vety big so I asked them to ship the teddy to my house. I gave them my house address and paid the extra charges. I was all smiles. I was very satisfied with the things that I bought.
I was going towards the lift when I heard somebody calling my name. I turned back. He was wearing a black suit and was coming towards me. Oh no. What is John doing here? I should have worn a mask and sunglasses. But how would I know that he was here?
I froze for a while. Then I forcefully let out a cheerfull smile.
"Miss Grace. What a coincidence!"He said. He was handsome. If he wasn't the second lead I would have wanted to become his good friends. I know he is not a bad guy but I am scared that one day he will torture me because of female lead.
"Oh hi Mr. John. Yes such a coincidence!" I laughed lightly. He smiled showing dimples. Bro I don't like dimples!! But it suits you.
"What are you doing here?" He asked me. I felt like vomitting. Is he kidding? I was literally standing with shopping bags on my both hands. Even a blind can tell that I was shopping!
"I was doing some shopping. What about you?" I stayed unaffected and calm outside not showing my real mood.
"Oh I am here for some business. You're leaving?" I suddenly remembered my twisted ankle. It was so emarassing. He saw that. I didn't want him to ask about it.
"Yes, I am done shopping so I'll be leaving." I said as we went towards the lift. We waited for some time.
"Then why not join me for a lunch?" Hr asked. I nearly chocked my own saliva. Is he asking me to joining for a lunch? He is!!
"Oh. Sure, why not?" I laughed awkwardly. I was going to reject him but it would be rude. And I don't want to get on his bad side. And he is rich anyways. He can definately afford a lunch.
The lift opened. And I froze seeing the person in the lift. What the hell is happening? Why are people suddenly appearing out of nowhere? I was shocked and I felt as if the lighting struck me. Why is Rustler King here?
John had a solemn expression. When I stepped inside the lift my head was blank. Rustler was expressionless. He just stood there ignoring us. Suddenly the surrounding got cold. I had chills on my body. It was so awkward silence. My god I was here for a simple shopping. How can I be so unlucky!? I just want to avoid them. But unfortunately I met both of them. I couldn't even bother to lift my head to look at those two as I was busy thinking about the consequences of offending them.
After some time John broke the silence and said, "Hello Mr. King. What a coincidence!" He said that to me as well. I lifted my lead to look at him. His eyes were filled with fear and anxiety. I nearly wanted to laugh.
"Hmm." Rustler replied. What a boring person!
"Hello Mr. King. Nice to meet you." I said forcing out a small smile. He glanced at me. His eyes were cold and distant. Those dark blue eyes were as deep as oceans. I quickly looked downwards again.
"Hmm." He said in a husky way. I now know that he doesn't know how to speak so he uses only two or three words. It was silent again. I was just looking at my white sneakers.
"We are going for a lunch. Would you like to join us?" After some time John spoke. I seriously wanted to strangle him to death. Where did his brain go? Anyways Rustler is going to reject his offer so I calmed down a little.
"Sure." Rustler spoke one word. I was dumbstruck. What is wrong with him? Why would he agree?
"That's good. That's good." John coughed lightly and gave a light smile. I also smiled nodding my head in agreement.
Why am I stuck between these two? I am not supposed to be here. And why is this lift taking so time to reach the ground floor?
After sometime the lift finally stopped. I quickly stepped out from the lift. None of these two are gentleman. I, a girl was carrying so many bags but none offered me a help. I don't even expect from Rustler but I was expecting some help from John. But women should be independent. I don't need their help.
" Hmm...Let me first put these bags in my car. You guys get going. I'll join you after putting these bags inside my car." I said. Rustler ignored me.
John said, "It's okay we'll wait for you here. Is that okay?" He asked Rustler. Rustler gave a slight nod. I wasn't sure if that meant okay or not but I ignored him and went towards the parking lot. I shoved those bags quickly and ran towards the building. I walked towards them. My surrounding once again got cold.
We walked towards a resturant and picked a table. The whole way girls were eyeing these two guys poping their eyes out of their socket. I rolled my eyes. They are handsome. I know that! You don't have to remind me.
I comfortably sat on the chair. Two of them were facing me. I quickly picked the menu. My god there were so many dishes. I swallowed as I was hungry. I heard a light chuckle from John. I narrowed my eyes at him. He called the waiter. I ordered lot's of dishes. Rustler ordered only one dish. John ordered few dishes.
"I heard you have applied for internship in many companies?" John asked me.
"Yes, I wanted to intern for some time before joining my dad's company. How did you know about that?" I replied and asked him. How did he find out? I purposely avoided his and Rustler's company. If they find out wouldn't it be odd?
"Oh. I learned it from one of my friend working in Javas." He said. Javas is one of the conpany that I applied internship for. Rustler was just sitting expressionlessly. He is weird. He doesn't talk. Why is he even here? Doesn't he have work?
I just said "Oh."
"Would you like to come to our company for intership?" I was sipping some water when John asked me. I chocked on my water. After coughing for sometime I was fine. I stared at him with disbelief. Is he being serious?
"No no. It's fine. I don't want to use connections for this." I said rejecting him. I want to avoid him not work in his company.
"Then you can give the interview. I'm sure you will pass the interview." He insisted. What is wrong with him?
"Hm. This....Okay. I will think about it."I said and smiled at him. He smiled back. Soon the dishes arrived. I was starving. So I started eating the dishes. I ignored the looks both of them gave me and continued happily eating the dishes.
After finishing those dishes I was in a happy mood even with those two. The dishes were so good. I will probably visit again in this resturant.
"You liked these dishes that much?" John chuckled. He stared at me with disbelief.
"Of course. Food is life. You live to eat. I love eating so naturally I liked these dishes. They were really good." I said brimming with happiness. Food is love.
John laughed loudly hearing me. I swear I even saw the ice-berg cold hearted Rustler's lip also lifting from it's corner. I was confused. Is it funny that I like to eat?
"Hey stop laughing." But he laughed more. I was shocked. I just stared at him.
After laughing for some time he finally regained himself and muttered a 'sorry'. I rolled my eyes.
"Let's head out." I said. They nodded.
"Oh. Let's split the bills." I offered as I think it would be rude.
"No no it's fine. I invited you two for lunch. I'll pay for it." John said. I nodded. Anyways he was the one to invite me.
"Then I'll pay next time."I said. He smiled and went towards the counter to pay. Now only me and Rustler were left.
"You are different." He suddenly said with his husky and manly voice. I looked at him. I was shocked. Talk about the classic line of any male lead towards a female lead. But I am a villan here. Bro, you forgot your script. Please know your role. Save that line for your female lead and love of your life. Phew. But he actually knew how to speak!
"I know." I said with a sly smile. His eyes flashed with surprise but again they were cold and distant. He said nothing and expressionlessly he left. This guy is super weird.
"What did he say to you just now?" I heard John asking me from behind. I turned back to face him.
"Nothing important. He is just...weird." I said. John was kind of looking confused.
"You don't like him?" He asked me. I looked at him. He was seriously asking me.
We started walking towards the parking lot. "No. Why would I like him?I like funny and caring guys." I told him. His face showed a surprise expression but quickly covered it with a smile.
He said "Oh." We reached the parking lot and I waved him bye. He waved back and I got inside the car. Then I drove towards my house.
