Chereads / The Billionaire's Evil Ex-Wife / Chapter 3 - Number 3

Chapter 3 - Number 3

Aidan's POV

I was coming back from work when my driver hit a young woman riding a bicycle. I got down to go check who it is. It happens to be a very beautiful girl, she's so white that she looks exactly like an angel.

Her beauty is so rare and mesmerizing. I wonder who gave birth to her. I have never seen someone so pretty like her.

"Take her into the car." I ordered my guards.

They carried her into the car and we drove home. I carried her myself to my room and had my doctor treat her.

The entire time I was staring at her face, Is she really human?

Human or not, there's no way I'm letting her go again. She's going to be the perfect solution to my problems.

I left the room and returned a while later to find her awake.

I must confess she's really a strong and fierce girl. I did some research on her after I left the room and I found out everything about her.

Ellen Crawford. Eighteen, abandoned by her parents because they got separated and her aunt has been taking care of her since then.

"Sir the chairman is on the phone." My personal bodyguard Matt brought the phone to me.

I collected it from him. The chairman he's talking about is my father Ferdinand Davenport, he's probably going to talk about it again.

"Yes dad." I said after collecting the phone.

"How long were you going to hesitate before you picked my call?." He asked.

"Dad I was busy with work. Matt just brought the phone to me." I replied with a frown.

"Your mother, step mother and siblings and I are waiting for you to bring in your wife to be. You need to get married in a week if you want your post as the head child of the family to hold. You know you will loose that without a wife." He said.

"I'm going to bring her to you dad." I replied again and hung up.

I don't get why my dad wants me to get married just because of a simple position. I am only doing this for my mom. My dad is a fucking jerk who cheated on my mom with two women and married them.

Practically my family is the most influential and important family in the country. Even the president and other government officials bow to us.

My family consists of my mom Alice, my little sister Joanna, my first step mother Shelley, her two children Emma and Andrew, my second step mother, Debby and her son Gregory.

We have a few other family members living at the mansion, my cousin Reina and her husband Cosmos, my great aunt Marietta and others.

The point is, I left there to be on my own because I can't keep staying in that kind of place. I'm a billionaire and a top model, I have my own personal empire and I made all these myself.

My siblings envy me a lot since I'm the first child. I am twenty five now, but I never had the time for marriage. I recently broke up with my ex girlfriend Carla, she left for college in Asia so... we broke up.

I don't really have much feelings for her. I just... like her. But now that I saw this beautiful woman, I suddenly don't want to let her go.

There's no way I'm going to let another man touch her, again.

I am not supposed to get married now but I'm doing it for the sake of my mother. She has the highest post as the lady of the house and she doesn't want to loose that.

"Matt I need you to keep watching Ellen. I don't want you to loose sight of her." I told him.

"Yes sir." He bowed and left.

••••••

A few days later, I had my driver take me to Ellen's house. I know she is not expecting to see me. She must have probably forgotten about me.

She was just coming out of the small house they lived in. It looks so small that I wonder why people would be living here. She looked shocked to see me. She froze at her spot while I gave her a smirk.

"You. What are you doing here?." She asked harshly.

"Hello snow white. It's so nice to see you too." I replied sarcastically.

She rushed in front of me in anger.

"What do you want from me? Are you stalking me now?."

I held my heart dramatically.

"Ouch. It hurts so much. I'm sorry but you don't expect me to leave you without giving me a reply."

She scoffed, "Do you think that you're so great. I want you to stay away from me and stop bothering me you jerk."

"You and your temper snow white."

"I am not snow white!." She protested.

I raised my hands in mock surrender.

"Okay. I'm going to stop now. I want to talk to your aunt, I came here to see her." I told her.

Her eyes widened.

"You can't see my aunt. Why don't you just get your filthy self out of here!." She shouted.

"What's going on here? What's all the screaming about?." A woman old enough to be her aunt came out.

She started to tremble as fear engulfed her.

"It's... It's nothing aunt." Ellen replied stuttering.

The woman's eyes landed on me. She frowned.

"Who's this man? Don't tell me you've started keeping men Ellen."

"No Aunt. I don't know him, he's just... "

"I am Aidan Davenport, her future husband to be. I came to discuss that with you."

The woman's eyes widened. She gasped. Of course she knows who I am. It would be a wonder if she doesn't, no one else bears the name in this city.

"Oh my God! From the biggest family in the city! The first and leading child of the Davenport family."

I nodded with a smile.

"That's me ma'am."

"Whoa. Umm... I would have asked you to come in but my house is not really befitting for someone of your status. Please just talk to me here."

I smiled at Ellen who's still confused and in shock.

"I actually wanted your permission to take Ellen as my wife." I told her.

"Really? I will give you my blessings, only if Ellen wants to." She said lowly.

"Aunt I... "

I pulled her close to me by her tiny waist.

"Accept. We already talked about it before, I just wanted to tell you first."

She smiled.

"Then you have my blessings. Go ahead and marry her."

Ellen looked at me with a glare.

"See baby? I told you your aunt would agree. You're coming home with me now." I whispered in her ears.

I think my problems would be solved now.
