Chapter 12 - Nobles In The Forest

"Master, I feel that the power in my body can't be suppressed anymore. I'm about to advance!"

After being strengthened by the crystals in the demonic beast's body, Golden Crow's strength continued to increase. In the blink of an eye, it was about to break through.

Kelly looked into the distance. The sky was getting dark, and now that they were in the forest, it was still very dangerous to camp outside.

"Golden Crow, hold on!"

The situation was urgent, so Kelly couldn't care less. After wandering in the forest for the past few days, Kelly had his own safe base.

It was a dark cave. Originally, it was the nest of some kind of magical beast, but after Kelly took over the nest, this guy didn't have the guts to find trouble with Kelly.

Karin returned to the cave with Golden Crow.

At this moment, he unexpectedly discovered that Golden Crow had already begun to enter the breakthrough period. At this moment, it had fallen into a deep sleep and was curled up like it was inside an eggshell.

However, the surface of Golden Crow's body was circulating with a special layer of golden light that was extremely dazzling. As time passed, the light on the surface of Golden Crow's body flickered as if it was breathing.

"How magical. There's actually such a powerful creature."

Kelly sighed softly.

From the looks of it, it would take some time for the golden crow to successfully break through. Kelly was not in a hurry. He sat down at the side and lit a bonfire.

The recent battles not only gave Golden Crow a chance to break through, but also made Kelly's combat strength even stronger than before.

At night, the forest was silent. Kelly sat by the campfire, the only sound the crackling of the firewood.

As time passed, Kelly took out his dry rations and leisurely tasted them.

As long as Golden Crow successfully broke through, he would be able to leave this place.

Suddenly there was a noise in Kelly's ear.

Something was approaching at a very fast speed!

Kelly immediately stood up. "Right of Judgement!"

The golden spear flew into Kelly's hand.

He looked out of the cave.

At this moment, a figure appeared in front of him. Without any hesitation, Kelly raised the golden spear in his hand.

"You still have a chance to leave!"

"If you continue to advance, I'll have to get rid of you!" Kelly's tone was firm.

At this moment, under the weak bonfire, he gradually saw the appearance of the person.

It was actually a cute girl.

When Kelly looked at her, she was also sizing him up.

The girl was wearing an exquisite mage robe with some complicated symbols carved on it. Most importantly, there was a violet flower on her chest!

This was the standard for aristocrats. Why would she appear here? Kelly, who had rich experience in other worlds, immediately confirmed the girl's identity. A lost aristocrat?

How interesting.

The girl was also sizing up Kelly. She kept a certain distance, one hand on her waist, as if she was ready to attack at any moment.

Naturally, she did not dare to completely let down her guard against such a strange man.

"My name is Lillian. May I please hide here for a moment?" As she spoke, she studied Kelly anxiously, as if afraid he would refuse. Her tone was urgent, her voice frightened.

Kelly did not refuse.

Reassured, Lillian sat down in a corner.

Only then did Kelly realize that she had been injured by a sharp weapon.

"Are you hurt? It's very damp over there. Come and sit down here."

Kelly beckoned, concerned to step forward and help. Lillian shook her head hastily.

"Th-thank you."

"That won't be necessary!" She merely sat down carefully by the campfire.

"I'll hide here for a while and leave soon after. Thank you!"

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Lillian began to bandage the wound herself.

But Kelley got up and picked up the golden spear. Lillian thought Kelley was going to make a move on her, and was suddenly nervous.

But Kelly had no such thoughts. Instead, he heard something else.

He was all too familiar with it. Only goblins were like this here.

Especially when he first met Lillian, her scent was very strong. Kelly immediately knew that she had been chased by goblins.

"They're gaining on us," Kelly said flatly.

Lillian's heart sank even further. How could that be? She had been so careful.

"The smell of blood on your body will attract them. These guys are most sensitive to smell," Kelly said indifferently.

It was obvious that Lillian was the daughter of a large family. She was not good at survival in the wild.

As she spoke, a few green-skinned goblins rushed in. Seeing them, Lilian no longer hesitated and stood up. At the same time, she summoned a staff and prepared to attack.

Kelly looked at her in surprise. If he was not mistaken, Lillian was a rare summoner? What an amazing talent.

"You're injured. Let me do it!" Kelly stepped forward and stood in front of Lillian.

His actions made Lillian's impression of him multiply. He was too manly!

"These goblins are very strong and cunning!" Lillian reminded him softly.

This group of goblins was really sinister and cunning to the extreme.

Kelly just smiled.

After dealing with goblins for so many years, how could he not know?

"Don't worry, Miss Lillian. You should take the time to heal your injuries. Leave these guys to me!"

Kelly looked at the goblins at the entrance of the cave. The green-skinned goblins naturally saw Kelly, and at the same time, they sensed obvious hostility from him.

It seemed that today's battle was inevitable.

The goblins looked Kelly up and down, as if they were ready to attack.

On the other hand, Kelly was still fearless against the goblins.

He knew these guys' tactics too well!

The next second, a few goblins moved quickly, preparing to surround Kelly.

This was a method of intimidation. By suppressing the opponent's mentality, one would get twice the result with half the effort.

That was what the goblins thought.

However, Kelly wasn't going to let anyone take advantage of him now. With the golden spear in hand, Kelly immediately launched a counterattack.

Lillian hadn't believed it at first.

How could a teenager defeat this elite goblin team?

However, the golden spear was an invincible weapon in Kelly's hands. It was not a problem to deal with a few goblins!

Before the goblins could get close to Kelly, they were killed by his golden spear.

Against these short and cunning trash, Kelly was decisive.

After killing a few goblins, only the leader was left.

This guy was completely frightened by Kelly. He actually knelt down in front of Kelly and begged for mercy.

Clearly, the goblin knew that it could not defeat Kelly alone.

The only way to survive was to hope that Kelly would be magnanimous enough to let him off at this moment!!!
