Chapter 15 - Stargle

Kelly patted Golden Crow's head in surprise.

"Little fellow, you're really my lucky star. You actually found such a good treasure!"

"Moreover, you even found the lair of our mortal enemy. From the looks of it, this place is even larger than the previous territory. It should be his headquarters!"

Kelly observed the nest in front of him. This should be the true nest of the big bird.

After being praised by Kelly, Golden Crow actually twisted its body and snorted proudly. It seemed like it enjoyed being praised very much.

Just as Kelly was about to completely destroy the nest, he heard a sharp whistle from afar.

Whoosh!

A gust of cold wind blew towards Kelly.m

"Damn it, this guy is back!" Kelly clenched his fists and didn't care anymore.

The golden spear in his hand smashed toward the nest, instantly causing the entire nest to explode.

Above their heads, a huge magical beast appeared in their line of sight. Its body was huge and covered the sky.

Those wings were as wide as wings.

Kelly put the golden spear in his hand and said proudly, "Damn you, how is it? I still found your nest. Let's see what you can do to me!"

Naturally, the big bird did not expect Kelly to destroy its nest so easily.

At this moment, it roared angrily.

The big bird that had recognized Kelly would not let him off just like that.

The big bird flapped its wings, and a terrifying whirlwind swept over at random, as if it was about to completely shatter Kelly.

Kelly's expression was solemn as he faced the big bird's attack.

Damn it.

This guy hadn't gone all out before, but now it was using all his strength to kill Kelly.

This was the first time Kelly had come into such close contact with the big bird, so he could roughly see its appearance.

"Wind Wing Beast!"

This was an extremely rare wind element magical beast. Although it was still unfamiliar with the use of wind magic, it was still dangerous.

At the very least, it was very difficult for Kelly, who was physically weak at the moment.

There was too little space at the top of the tree for Kelly to dodge.

Kelly no longer hesitated and jumped down from the treetop with Golden Crow.

Fortunately, the vines around Kelly allowed him to land smoothly.

However, the Wind Wing Beast could not watch its enemy escape just like that.

Therefore, the Wind Wing Beast chased after it.

Kelly hugged Golden Crow and went all out!

No matter what, he had to escape safely from here.

Although the Wind Wing Beast was not strong, this fellow was really too vengeful. In addition, as a wind-type magical beast, it was relatively agile.

If not for this forest blocking most of the attacks, Kelly would definitely be at a disadvantage.

However, he still relied on his agile movement technique and some small tricks to successfully deceive the Wind Wing Beast.

After escaping from the forest, Kelly did not dare to stop, afraid that the Wind Wing Beast would continue to chase after him.

This guy didn't have high damage and was extremely insulting. Kelly didn't want to have another conflict with this guy.

It was already very good that he could escape safely.

Following the direction of the map, Kelly soon saw a huge town. On the plains, this place was especially obvious. There were also many caravans coming and going around.

Stargle, a well-known town. And the selection would be held here.

It was said that there were many people who came to participate, and there was no lack of important figures with high statuses.

Kelly leaned forward as he studied Stargle.

This majestic city gave him an indescribable feeling.

In front of the city gate, a group of armed guards stopped Kelly.

"Kid, what are you doing?"

Kelly looked at him and took out his selection badge. "Hello, I'm here to participate in the selection."

The lead guard looked Kelly up and down, contempt in his eyes.

"Register!" He pointed to the guards who were taking notes.

Kelly did not refuse and went up to register his information.

Then, he turned around and prepared to enter the city.

But at this moment, he was stopped again.

The captain carefully sized up Kelly's message and a look of disdain appeared on his face. "Kid, you can't go in!"

"Hmm? Why?"

Kelly looked around. Stargle was indeed heavily guarded now, and every one of them looked nervous.

"Kid, what do you think you're going to participate in? This is a selection conference. Do you think you are even good enough to participate?" The captain sneered.

The guards at the side also laughed loudly. "Little kid, don't tell me you've played too much house? This is an adult's game. It has nothing to do with a child like you!"

"He came here to participate in the selection at such a young age, and he's from a village that I've never heard of. Could it be that a spy wants to sneak in and cause trouble?"

Hearing the guards' words, Kelly's expression turned cold.

"My documents are complete, and I also have an invitation card, but you're stopping me here! If the City Lord finds out about this, can you bear the responsibility?" Kelly shouted angrily.

Although he only had the appearance of a child, his boldness was not inferior to that of an adult!

But these guys weren't listening at all.

Just as Kelly was at a loss.

In the distance, a carriage slowly drove over. When they saw this carriage, a few guards instantly revealed solemn expressions.

"Behave yourself!" The two guards suppressed Kelly and looked up at the carriage with respect.

Kelly had an idea. There was probably a big shot in this!

Without any hesitation, he shouted, "I'm innocent! I'm innocent! You arrested the wrong person!"

Kelly's voice wasn't loud, but there was a hint of grievance in his immaturity.

Hearing a person shout that he was innocent, the carriage immediately slowed down.

Then, a person stuck his head out of the carriage.

"Lord Reyer!"

The leader of the team went forward. "You're back? This kid is talking nonsense. We found out his fake identity!"

"Pardon me for startling you!"

"A fake identity?" The man snorted coldly and slowly walked down from the carriage.

He looked at the guards, then back at Kelly.

"A child. You're saying he's a spy?" When he said this, Reyer's tone clearly became much more serious.

The captains looked embarrassed, but they were still unwilling to admit their mistake!

At this moment, Reyer sneered!
