Once Sam had entered the gate he had reached the same spot as before in the forest just outside the city before he grew his wings and flew into the city for awhile before he landed at an old bank and entered it to see only a single clerk behind the counter and walked up saying as he slipped the clerk a folded piece of paper
"Fares, Entry code 1D3F4T. I would like to have a word with the manager regarding some business"
The clerk unfolded the paper and looked at it before the clerk folded it back up and handed it back to Sam before saying
"Certainly Mr. Fares, right this way please"
Sam followed the clerk to a stairwell leading multiple floors down before they reached a vault that was to expensive for the banks external look before a key pad popped out of the wall with the clerk saying as Sam typed up a code before he left Sam alone
"Please do enjoy your stay Mr.Fares"
Sam then heard the vault door open to reveal a night club filled with joy and laughter as a party raged on before Sam put on a white and blue Oni mask and entered the club and made his way through the crowd and took a seat at the bar before he heard a dazzling young woman say as she sat down next to him
"Well well well, never thought I'd see you here again"
Sam ordered two shots and said
"Good to see you Veronica, where is he?"
Veronica smiled and took one of the shots and said before she left
"He's excited to see you again, follow me"
Sam paid for the drinks and followed Veronica up a flight of stairs before they reached a private room with a one way glass view of the dance floor
Sam could sense a third presence and smiled as he looked at the party below
"Hello frank I see your still in business even though your entering your 60's"
Veronica walked behind the bar and started fixing up some drinks before and older man who held a cane came towards the window and said as he too looked at the party
"Still the same as always, I'm not that old you know. But let's talk about what do you need?"
Sam sat down and said as frank sat across from him
"Information on some Instance dungeons."
Franks eyes shined as he knew only factions were in the position to look for this information to teach their new followers
"Ah I see, after you completed your Great trial you joined a faction"
Sam chuckled and extended his wings and said as frank and Veronica jumped a little
"No, I made a faction of my own"
Frank and Veronica were just too shocked by Sam's wings to even hear what he had said before Sam said
"I know some of the instance dungeons are managed by the hunters alliance but not all of them"
Frank jumped up and grabbed Sam's hand saying
"Did you join a powerful Faction?! I must know!"
Sam opened a gate and the middle of the room and said as he entered it
"Come with me and see"
Frank and Veronica started hiding while Veronica was panicking
"I-I-Is that really Sam?! How do we know it's someone using magic to take on his face!?"
Frank however was hiding while aiming a pistol at the gate and said as he was shaking
"I don't know?! Let's just call the hunters association"
However even though that calling the hunters association was their best option, it would mean the end of their business as the club Frank had been managing for decades was less on the legal side where only few know of its existence leading Frank to contemplate what to do before Sam came back through and said as he looked at Frank and Veronica
"You guys coming or not? I guess you guys think I'm an imposter so I'll just say that I used to call you Frank an old geezer after you tried hooking up with a teenager"
Frank immediately stopped shaking as he had only told Sam and Veronica about the incident before Veronica took out a knife and said while Frank eased up
"If your really Sam then answer this, what's my favourite meal?"
Sam smiled and placed a dish from his inventory on a table and said
"That's easy, cheese stuffed burger with chilli cheese fries with my special chicken barbecue sauce that you've been eating for years whenever I visited"
Veronica smiled and ran up before she ran past Sam and immediately started eating and started crying at how delicious it was before Sam said as he entered the portal again
"Well, follow me and I'll show you what faction I made"
Veronica and Frank were busy processing this new information before they stared at each other and said in unison
"Made?"
"Made?"
Sam waited outside of the dragon temple and saw Veronica and Frank passing through before the gate closed
Sam immediately clapped his hands twice before Frank and Veronica could feel the ground shaking as Sam said
"Allow me to welcome you to the Dragon Temple"
Frank and Veronica were about to start following Sam into the temple when they saw that they were covered by a large shadow before hearing a deafening roar was heard close by before Frank and Veronica were forced on the ground by Tremor and the Olson brothers before Sam pulled out his sword and said as he pointed at tremor
"Enough, they are guests"
Tremor growled a little before backing away while the brothers helped Frank and Veronica up before they both pulled Tremor back to the dragon dens while Mary and the others flew back with their wings and greeted Sam before Sam sat down and said
"So I can't help but wonder why you all went down to the forest while I was gone"
Mary tossed Sam a draconian water core and said
"We didn't venture into the forest, we just had to make sure Harry and phill didn't get themselves killed"
Sam laughed and said as he tossed the core back to Mary before his face turned sour
"Smart, throwing your brothers under the bus but that's something I won't tolerate in my family"
Everyone started quaking in their shoes, including Frank and Veronica as they all could practically see with their own eyes Sam's rage and anger before it vanished into thin air
Veronica and Frank couldn't believe how much Sam had changed in just a few years since they last saw him however Taylor and Charles as well as the others noticed Frank and Veronica before they started talking
"Who's the old geezer? An uncle maybe? I wonder how strong they are"
"What do you mean uncle? That guy looks old enough to be my grandfather, but who's the woman?"
"Is she a secret lover? An old school mate?"
"What no way, she's probably just a friend"
Frank and Veronica felt both embarrassed and anger before Sam growled a little and had his eyes change before everyone stopped talking and entered the temple
"How about we talk over dinner as Samantha would have done cooking dinner by now"
Frank and Veronica then followed Sam to the cafeteria before Frank asked
"Umm Sam? How did you manage to create your own faction? I thought that only the gods, Demon kings and deities could?"
Sam grew out his tail and two horns and said as half of his face was covered with scales while the rest remained normal
"I am the dragon lord, this power was passed to me and now I teach my clan members but let's eat first"
Frank and Veronica couldn't comprehend how or why before they sat down at a table and saw Samantha handing out food before Veronica patted her on the hand and said
"Aren't you just adorable in the little outfit! So cute! What's your name?"
However just then a few strands of hair fell onto the table before Cindy said as her three tails were near her face
"That's my sister, do not do that again"
Sam calm her down and said as twilight and sunshine jumped onto his lap
"That's enough, let's be nice to our guests since I call them my family" Cindy sat back down while Veronica felt Cindy's glare as Samantha and the Olson brothers handed out to food while the young hatchlings ate out of their food bowls
While they all began eating Frank looked around and chuckled to see some of them playing with their food while they laughed before he turned to Sam and said with a heart warming smile
"You got a fantastic family here, but didn't you want to know something about instance Dungeons?"
The room froze apart from Veronica who was only concerned with her food
Sam nodded and said while looking at everyone
"Soon we will make our presence known so I plan to be prepared so yes I will need any information you have on instance dungeons"
Frank saw and both felt everyone's gazes on him before he said
"There are the normal dungeons where once you complete them they disappear, but very rarely it will not disappear and remain in the same location"
Veronica then spoke up saying
"From what I've heard the hunters association they currently manage over three thousand Instance dungeons, they often get a lot of useful resources and items which they sell to factions on the 15th floor"
Sam froze up and remembered Cronos talking about the 15th floor and asked
"Veronica, what's on the 15th floor?"
Veronica then begun the explanation of the towers 15th and the neutral zones
When the tower first came so did a message from the gods and deities
""Climb the tower and receive a gods blessing""
This message inspired a young and ambitious man known currently as 'The Saint'
At first he was a simple medic who was determined to understand new medicine and remedy's while he had his friends by his side as he and the others climbed the tower until on the 14th floor they encountered a foe too strong for them to handle, a Demon prince and when all seemed lost the Saint heard the voice of a goddess whom no one yet knows but the saint saying in his ears
""Do you wish for the power to heal your friends from near death? Will you become my proxy? What day you?""
"….yes…. I want to save my friends"
From then the goddess was said to have poured her blood into the young saint and together they cleared the tower floor and saved his friends until he arrived in front of a city gate
The saint and his friends started to explore the seemingly empty city until the very same goddess was said to have descended upon them in her physical form and explained in a soft and elegant voice
""My chosen and his accomplices, I welcome you to the Neutral Zone""
The young saint and his friends then followed the goddess around the city and wondered where everyone was until the goddess gave each of them a single golden pendant and said before fading away
""place the pendant and see the unseen beauty of this world, my time was brief but know I will always see you, my children""
The saint placed the pendant on his chest and began to hear music and see people in the streets jumping and cheering with joy before he took off his helmet and took a deep breath
Weeks had passed for the young saint and with the weeks passing the number on hunters who had reached the Neutral Zone was rising incredibly fast till and while the young saint wanted to continue climbing the tower he could bare to leave as he fell in love with a young girl but such loved things in the tower do not last long as his stay in the neutral zone had upset the goddess he served
""My proxy, you must continue the climb she will never be safe from 'them' unless you climb to the top""
The young saint however refused the goddess warning as he still couldn't find the strength to leave the woman he loved until his beloved fell down with an Illness and no matter how much the man pleaded for help from his goddess there was no answer leaving the young saint's beloved to die at his side
From then on the saint broke ties with the goddess as he stood on top of the highest mountain and screamed while throwing away the pendant
"Curse you!! Why didn't you help save her! Your not a goddess but a devil!"
This one act infuriated the goddess to where it was said that the goddess and three angels descended from a golden staircase while a light shined on the saint
""You know nothing mortal! I warned you! And now I take what was once given!""
Sam and the others were saddened by this tale as he could understand his pain before he said to lighten the mood
"Okay that's enough, we are meant to welcome our guests with joy so how about after dinner we all go flying to experience the cool night sky"
Everyone smiled while Harry and phill raised their hands and said
"Umm master? We don't have wings so we can't fly"
Sam laughed before he said while giving a stone cold face
"You both will be cleaning the dragon den because you guys went to the forest of ash without any permission from me"
Harry and phill were about to try and convince Sam to let them off however it was quickly stopped when they saw Sam's two horns that grew out and started to clean their dishes before leaving
Once Sam and the others were outside everyone grew their own wings and started flying while Sam, Frank and Veronica were still on the ground
Frank could barely see some of them flying in the sky before he asked Sam
"That looks mighty fun but I don't really feel like flying"
Veronica smiled and said
"I don't mind flying but are you sure you can hold me?"
Sam scoffed and transformed into his Wyvern form and said as he picked her up
"It's not going to be a problem so just enjoy the moment"
But what Sam was about to learn that night was that he wasn't the only thing in the clouds enjoying the night
