The dragon grotto was filled with Mystery and secrets yet to be discovered about not only the four lands but the dragon grotto as well but Sam had thought he and his clan mates were safe near the temple but this calm and enjoyable flight was quickly interrupted

Sam and the others quickly landed back on the ground while Sato and Tremor came charging out of the temple while Sam handed Veronica to Harry while phill picked frank up
"Get them into my quarters quickly! that's an order!"
Harry and phill didn't think twice before running off while Sam could very faintly hear the sound of gusts of wind getting louder and louder
Mary tried using her night vision to see what was coming but it was too late as dozens of fire ball's started raining from the sky before Sam countered it with a breath attack of his own
But once the dust settled Sam and the others saw dozens if not hundreds of wyverns but it was more accurate to say they looked like pterodactyls before Sam took to the skies yelling
"Everyone get down! I don't want you hit you with this skill!

Sam smiled at this but realized how much stamina he had left and knew he couldn't keep his Wyvern form active for more then a few more minutes and wanted to finish this fight quickly before he felt sharp pains all over his body to see some of the pterodactyls managed to slip by but this only infuriated Sam as he used his jaws and fangs to tare them in half
Just then Williams duel element dragon's breath flew past Sam and hit a group of pterodactyls who were in a large group and before long everyone started shooting breath attacks while Sam landed on the ground to regain his stamina before he saw another group of pterodactyls coming through the other entrance before he yelled as he faced Cindy while holding his sword
"Cindy! Fire at me!"
"!? Okay!
Sam dug his feet in the ground and braced himself as he blocked it with his sword

With Sam's temporary boost to saw everyone else in slow motion before he swung his weapon with not technique or a skill but just a basic attack and killed three pterodactyls in a single attack before they turned to a bloody mist
'What power! To think it would be this powerful! Let's clean up the garbage in my temple!'
Sam made short work of all the pterodactyls in the temple before he went back to the others and saw a flock of them heading to them in a straight line before sam used Mary's shoulder as a jump pad and continued his momentum to jump and slash each of the pterodactyls while all Mary and the others could see was a golden streak of lightning that was too fast to see
Once the boost ran out Sam had hundreds of messages appearing while he and the others rested

Sam sat down and rested himself in preparation for the next wave while Mary, Charles and Jim all approached Sam asking

Sam then started to explain his great trial from when he first got sato and the others and while Mary and Charles we're excited as they both have the same Fire element as Sam who has all five, Jim felt differently
"So since I have the water draconian Element, you don't know where I'll take my great trial..."
Sam and the others could see the sadness in Jim's eyes as his hopes for a new and unknown power disappeared in seconds
"Hey, just because we don't know where it will happen doesn't mean that you won't ever do your great Trial. The second wave will begin soon so get ready"
Jim and the others bowed and spread the word to the others while Sam took a closer look at his loot, starting with his skills where he found two options for the Morale skill

Sam felt interested in these two options but one stood out before he selected the Morph
Sam check how much time remained and wanted to check the loot boxes he had been awarded but was interrupted as he could feel a presence behind him that felt human in nature but also felt too strong to be a normal person before he got in a defensive stance and saw a man with white hair and red eyes sitting in front of the temple steps totally naked
"Who are you? A hidden boss? A demon? Answer me!"
The main tilted his head and said with a soft voice
"Master? It's me sato? Did you not notice me when I Evolved?"
"?!"
Sam was mortified by the man's statement
'Is this a trick?! How could he have evolved without me noticing?'
Sam quickly opened his familiars page and clicked on sato while he found the truth and saw that the man in front of him was truly Sato

Sam sheathed his sword and walked around the new Sato in circles while he asked
"How did you go into a sudden Evolution and how did I not see it? Answer quickly or you will die"
Sato then explained what had happened as on the other side of the temple was Tremor and the others tamed beasts fighting pterodactyls endlessly before an alpha Pterodactyl appeared and attacked tremor along with the others whom tremor we're guarding but was stopped by sato who begun to fight the Alpha Pterodactyl
Once the fight concluded a shiny red crystal ball with radiant energy seeping out, fell onto the ground.
But as sato picked it up in his mouth and was about to bring it to his master, Sam, tremor tried to stop him and I'm doing so made Sato swallow the crystal ball before seconds later he found himself in this strange new form
After just a few moments Sam had realized what sato had swallowed was most definitely a fire core of the highest rarity and while Sam wanted to drown in his sorrow he noticed their was a minute left and tossed sato his GreatSword that he previously had been using and a pair of pants as more dragon cries in the distance
"Everyone! Get ready for wave two because here it comes!"

The clouds dispersed by the roar to reveal a creature that with a single name cause even Sam to tremble a little

Sam immediately casted his new morphed skill and fired the same three element blast he used on William with the intent to kill and undoing so caused a huge explosion and while Sam was about to use another one he heard a grim and elderly voice say from the smoke
""So it was you I sensed…. Interesting""
The Dragon emerged from the smoke unscathed by Sam's attack but just as the others were about to attack
The dragon morphed into a human and stood a few feet away while he stared at Sam and vice versa as Sam said
"Can you understand what I'm saying? Why are you after me"
The dragons made two chairs of ice and sat down
""The mortal's language is simple but I didn't expect that there were any mortals left and as for why i have come it is to see if you threaten my peace""
Sam sat down and could feel a spiritual pressure coming from the beast sat across from him but remained calm as he knew he was not match for it while his followers remained close by.
"I don't know if you'll believe me when I say this but we have been living here for a awhile while effectively minimizing our involvement with the lower lands"
The dragon seemed angry by Sam's comment
""So you think just because you live in the Dragon monarchs home you think your selves strong enough to call the four great lands that the monarch made Lower areas?!"
The others besides Sam and Sato nearly collapsed by the intense spiritual pressure before Sam pulled out the torn note he found in the ruins in the Scorched Earth area and said
"Wait wait wait! It's a misunderstanding! I'm the new Dragon Monarch!"
The spiritual pressure disappeared as the dragon stared closely at Sam before he took the note and looked at it saying
"Seems you ARE the new dragon monarch…. And…. This note seems to have been recorded in the first era of the Desert Kingdom… Thurkan Stonefalls"
Sam and the others were confused but also curious
"How long did this Thurkan Stonefalls Kingdom last, because I found this and some other notes in but I could make sense of only that note"
One of the main reasons Sam had spent less time hunting was to decipher the words on the other notes he had found but had made no progress before the dragon tossed Sam a scroll that looked quite old
""This was one of the only things I received from the old master so I think it's fitting if you hold it but just because the old master chose you, doesn't mean I accept you as my new master"
Sam put away the scroll and asked
"What would I have to do to have you accept me as your new master? And do you have a name?"
The dragon smiled and said before he flew away
"Learn my True name and then call my name. Do that and I will serve you"
Sam watched the dragon fly away and heard the sound of the quest's completion as the others began to cheer in happiness as they feared the worst
