Due to the pressure that filled Matius's head, Matthew could easily retake control of his body. He pulled Matius's soul and placed the man's soul into his deepest subconscious.
For the time being, maybe Matius won't dare to come out from his subconscious. That coward would have preferred to hide instead of suffering the agony of a memory he had sealed long ago.
Not long after, Ruby opened her eyes after Matthew gave her more spiritual energy.
At first, Ruby was about to rebel by pushing Matthew's chest away from her. However, Ruby no longer resisted after meeting those two sparkling golden eyes.
"It's me, Matthew," Matthew whispered while hugging Ruby's body.
Ruby immediately hugged Matthew's body even tighter than before. She placed her head on the man's shoulder and wrapped her arms around Matthew's neck.
"Are you all right?" Matthew asked while patting Ruby's back.
Ruby nodded weakly. Her body still felt weak, but Matthew's presence made her feel better.
