Ruby had a weird dream that night. Ruby wore a white dress stretched out to cover her legs in her dream. She walked on the endless expanse of red roses.
Every time Ruby took a step, she had to watch where she was walking, or the thorns on the rose stems could scratch the surface of her skin.
Her right-hand holds a bouquet of roses. Her golden hair danced in the air when the wind blew, along with rose petals flying around her.
"Where am I?" Ruby asked to herself.
Ruby widened her eyes and was surprised when her mouth was able to make a sound. Her voice sounded bright and sweet. It was also a soft and mesmerizing sound that could make people want to hear her voice for a long time.
"I can … talk?"
Unconsciously, tears started to roll down Ruby's cheeks. She realized that the world before her wasn't real, but she still felt happy when she could hear her voice.
