"It's good to have you as well. Do you have anything to add to the information that G.K. has provided just now?" Gerald inquired. Tanaka's reply came through the earpiece, "I'm afraid not, sir. The mapping mines that you guys set up near the entrance of that alien building did enable the ability to get a live feed of that part of the dungeon. However, it only lasted for a few minutes, after which it had lost any ability to provide us with data."
"How is that possible?" G.K. asked, a puzzled expression on his face. "We set up those mines inside the tunnel. Those creatures haven't yet opened up the entrance. How were they able to block the data transmission?"
"They must be using a wireless data jammer, or something equivalent to that in alien tech, I suppose," Tanaka explained with a sigh. "It looks like the only way to get any new information about the alien race is by interrogating the captive."
