Zenith just fainted for some reason. I don't really know what happened but I figured that it was probably because of overworking. If I remember correctly, she still has a lot of guns that needs to be done. I already put her to rest at the emergency tent. While that part was that. The other matter at hand was the arrival of the VIPs that we were supposed to be guarding. I saw Lala and Diane approaching the VIPs.
I went and joined them, "Hey what's up?"
"We're just about to introduce ourselves." said Diane.
"Where is Zenith?" asked Lala.
Then I told her, "She's resting at the emergency tent."
"Is she alright?" Diane seems to be worried about her. "What happened?"
"Nothing crucial. It's just overworking from her gunsmith job...I think."
"I see..." said Lala.
We then made our way to where the VIPs were waiting for us.
"Oh is that them?" The male VIP said to his female companion.
Lala introduced herself to the guests, "Greetings, my name is Lala Magnetite and I'm The Cardinal of Magic Studies. I'm also leading the students that will be taking care of you two."
"The Cardinal? Interesting! I am Prince Medley and this here is my bride Princess Sonata." Prince Medley introduced himself to us.
Princess Sonata then added, "As you might have been informed already, I am from the blood of The Royal Family of Symphonile. The Prince is of a different royal blood."
"I'm from The Royal Family of Chordelia." said The Prince.
After hearing that, I was a bit confused over a small matter. But I fear that I should not question about such things in front of them. It might sound disrespectful.
Lala then said, "Well, we're told that there will be two guests so we will be taking care of you two while you enjoy the festival, Prince."
"Thank you, Lala." The Prince bowed to her.
The Princess then asked us, "How many of you guys are there?"
Diane then answered, "There's 10 of us, my princess! 9 Girls and a boy right here."
The Prince then asked, "Why only one boy?"
I responded, "I wasn't the one who decided it but it happened. My name is Cyclone White. Pleasure meeting you two."
"Well this is going to be a problem..." The Prince whispered to himself.
I happen to hear what he whispered. But I kept to myself until I feel it was necessary to ask. I got a feeling it's because I'm the only guy taking care of the two of them. But he'll be proven wrong once he realizes that The Magic Studies students are all amazing wizards.
"Very well then. Let's see what The Music Festival has for us. Can you accompany us for a moment, White?"
"Why me?" I asked.
"Because you're the only guy I can talk to." He laughed.
I tried to laugh without making it sound like I was being obnoxious to both Lala and The Prince.
Lala then told us, "We'll be on the lookout from afar. Take care of them properly...And keep yourself alive, White."
"Gotcha."
We then began walking through The Indie Area. While walking around, I showed them a couple of tent that had a number self published music albums that the independent musicians were selling. They looked happy as they were browsing through the albums. While Princess Sonata was busy picking her favourite indie bands, Prince Medley strikes a conversation with me.
"Hah, woman. Everywhere they go they will always love browsing through wares."
"You're not interested with what we have here?" I asked.
The Prince responded, "Not exactly. I love it. It's just that I probably already have most of the song digitally."
"Digitally, huh. Then why Princess Sonata is buying a disk instead of listening it to your device?"
"She prefers it that way. She's an analog kind of person. She also love listening classical sometimes. But that's not for me unfortunately. But, I respect that."
I feel like I was comfortable enough to ask him something crucial. And so I decided to ask about what I was thinking.
"Hey, Prince. I was wondering something about what you said earlier..."
"And what is that?"
"With all full respect, Prince. I thought The Symphonile and The Chordelia are enemies."
"Oh that? We are enemies. But in the end, The Symphonile was abolished from being an official royal family."
"So what's happening now?"
He explained, "We're engaged so that The Symphonile can once again gain their royalty..."
"You sound displeased about that. Is something wrong?"
"It's a forced marriage, White. No one likes being forced into marrying someone you don't even know. Most of all when it's from a family that once resented us."
"Is The Princess involved with this as well?"
"Not really. Both of our parents were the one who did this. But I suspect that this is more toward Sonata's parent considering what would happen to them once she's married into my family."
Then I added, "It could also be your parents as well, I think. The Symphonile had a bigger impact compared to what your ancestors did."
"Is that so? Then why are they abolished instead of us?"
"How should I know about that?" I shrugged.
"I think I got everything I want on this stall, guys." Princess Sonata finally came back from her browsing.
She ended up buying a couple of albums. She's indeed an analog person.
"Let's get going, guys."
The Prince and I looked at each other as we left behind our conversation to just that. We continued to walk around the area for a while.
I never imagined I would end up escorting someone from a royal family. But after hearing what Prince Medley told me, I think he's just like any other person around. He has his problem like anyone else and I can see how concerned he was about the forced marriage. I figured it was best for me to simply ignore it but what would happen later would be exactly what I'm trying to ignore. And that was getting involved in this...
