Chapter 296 - A New Profession
The inner region of Ward was filled with large buildings that were at least 20 stories tall, so even during the day they casted shadows all over the region. Which was just perfect Havok as he didn't even need to do anything as he could just walk through the shade and 'Hidden Presence' would make him undetectable and invisible to others and cameras.
Ward went from a small city with small buildings and structures, to exactly what one from the past predicted the future architecture would look like. Complete with flying cars and advanced technology that had developed quickly over the last 10 years.
Instead of building structures that took up space horizontally, they decided to build vertically in order to maximize the entirety of the 500 miles of land that the inner region covered. The flying cars were a recent invention that did not become popular and semi-affordable until just about 2 years ago.
