The two messengers also passed along a picture of Havok along with a report about him to Khaem. The pages each had a little bit of blood on them. They didn't actually buy this information, rather they killed some humans and took it from their corpses. With the sudden influx of beasts and humans from both cities and their surrounding forests they ended up killing a few hundred of them after they left the Stronghold Hotel.
Despite them not being pure blooded Elves, they were close enough for those on Earth and they had already learned that they were a hot commodity for humans on this planet. Right after they arrived on this foreign planet, a few of their mongrel clan were kidnapped by humans who just happened to stumble across them.
