Chapter 279 - Improvised Ambush
The beasts that were sniffing around the area were Cackling Spotted Hyenas. When he saw them Havok flashed back to when he was first being trained inside the blocked cave. They were the first group of beasts that he fought inside the cave. That was his first lesson in fighting against multiple opponents in a closed off setting. He shook his head and disregarded those thoughts because this was a completely different situation. This was not the past. He was stronger and even back then he managed to dispatch those Hyenas.
Those Hyenas were weak, and these were blue cores, but he did not fear them in the slightest. It was nighttime and even with their senses they failed to locate them. They did not have an affinity for darkness like those from the Goblin camp, so he did not need to be nearly as cautious of them. Granted he was still cautious, but that was due to the fact that Grant and Leona were with him.
