Havok and his group had finally found an area that was suitable for them to live in. It was a few hundred feet away from a 40 square mile wide lake that was over 50 feet deep. The lake was also surrounded by wetlands and thickets that were teeming with predators waiting to pounce on the unfortunate souls that wandered into them.
Due to the catastrophe the landscape around the lake was raised above the lake by about a dozen feet, forming a cliff above them and it also formed several large openings that were large enough for the three of them to live in without being cramped. They were not the only ones that lived in the naturally formed caves and wide openings around the lake.
His first instinct was to kill those that were around them. Not just because it was dangerous to live so close to those that they did not know. Most importantly, he hated being woken up and with them gone that chance would drop significantly.
