The rest of her birthday was just them relaxing at the house. She requested that Havok make her Italian food for dinner, which he of course did. A big spread of spaghetti, ravioli, creamy cheese risotto, garlic bread, expensive red wine. For dessert he made her all sorts of cookies, chocolate chip, sugar, snickerdoodle, chocolate and peanut butter.
After a nice two-day break, they got back to their training.
Right now, the only thing that they were waiting on in order for them to leave the city was the construction of the road and railway to finish. Once that happened, they would head out, so until then it was just about training and then enjoying the luxuries that a city had to offer in their down time. Since they knew that very soon, they would be spending all of their time out in the danger zone, and it would be a while before they went to Ward.
