Adam had just been blasted into the forest and was heavily injured. He could sense all of the beasts that were around him, so he quickly made the decision to call for help. The only person amongst the Nationalist that might be able to get there in time was Sparks, but her madly sprinting out of the region would alert everyone who keeps an eye on their organization.
