Chapter 209 - The Feeling of Death
"Haste!" Grant sprinted off the side as the Hellhound snarled at him. While Leona sneakily trailed behind him using the singed trees as cover. The Hellhound wasted no time and immediately charged at Grant, who was ready with another arrow.
Tsu!
He fired aiming for its head. It opened its mouth and spit out a blast of fire destroying the arrow. Grant was not stupid enough to fight the beast in close quarters while it was still fully healthy and brimming with mana. He quickly backed up as it launched itself at him trying to bite him. Just as it was about to close its mouth Leona finally acted.
Thwack!
She smacked its mouth causing its jaws to slam shut. Doing her best to make sure that her vine did not get burned she quickly pulled it back and then sent a vine towards Grant and it wrapped around his waist.
