Chapter 198 - Constantly Growing Body Count
Cred was located downtown and as Gwen and Genevieve killed their way through the streets, Layla and Louisa had just arrived home. They released a sigh of relief when they saw that their mother had activated the security system. They had a 6-person security team patrol the house at all times when they were not home, but all of them apparently had run away because there was no sign of them. All 6 of them were green cores, so even if they were killed there would be some signs of battle, but all they saw were impacts from the security system. Both of them made up their minds to find them and slaughter all of them for abandoning their post after they got paid a hefty sum and advertised themselves as the best.
Neither of them cared about the added danger of the mana beasts running around. The security system would have aided them greatly in any fight.
