While the trio was driving home to shower before they headed back out to grab something for lunch. Inside the dungeon T.J. was panting as he stood over the corpse of the blue core ranked winged cat. It was apparent that this was not an easy fight because his stone armor was missing large chunks and was covered in cuts of various depths. If one looked closely, they could see blood just barely leaking through his armor.
He looked around the battlefield and saw that his side was on the losing side of the weaker rankers' battles. He had the urge to go and wipe out the weaker winged cats, but that would not do him any good. More dead bodies would only lead to the dungeon core growing stronger, getting closer to ranking up.
