Havok started walking in their direction, but his attention was on Grant not anyone else. Grant was fighting against a cat that was going all out, so his injuries quickly piled up. The endless gusts of wind blew his pelt around creating openings for the cat's attacks to land. He had several long claw marks all over his torso and a couple of them on his back. Havok actually watched him get those wounds, it was a good learning opportunity for Grant, so he was only going to intervene at the last possible second and that was only if Grant's life was in danger.
With all the injuries Grant's speed had dropped drastically along with his ability to fire arrows, especially at a rapid rate. Each time he moved not only could he feel the pain from the wounds, but they were getting larger. As his attacks slowed down the attacks from the cat that he was facing only increased in their speed, power and veracity.
