In the beginning of their fight, he was able to resist the heat from the Flame Strutting Bronco, but as the fight went on the Broncos flames seemed to only get hotter. It was not only its mane, hooves and tail that were on fire after a while its entire body was red hot and each time he landed a blow it doubled sided. He managed to hurt the Bronco, but he was also burned in the process.
