Wesley and Dorian were wearing their armor underneath their clothing. It was nothing impressive or an attention magnet. They just wanted armor that would be able to protect them, and they didn't give a shit what it looked like as long as it was functional.
Wesley did not have a weapon his hands ignited as he put his fists up ready for combat. Dorian also did not have a weapon. However, his bare feet did seem to fuse into the ground. He didn't raise his hands or do anything else besides stand there with a blank expression on his face.
