Half a year has passed since the start of the battle of supremacy here at the Continent of Beast. The whole eastern side of the continent has been riddled with battles for resources and power. More soldiers were being brought in the continent as abundant resources like mana stones, precious gems and rare metals. But the battles were limited due to the Ice and snow and only those close to each other fight amongst themselves.
The Iron Dwarf Clan has even found large deposits of Iron and was able to harvest half a kilogram of mithril, which was more than the last decade they have harvested on their old Mountain Forts in the Harken Continent. Lizardmen were able to gain approval from a the Komodo Lord and now able form pacts with the Komodo species. The Trisdale Navy Empire gained another Beast Lord ally which was the Shark Lord along with the Crawfish Lord, they were able to take roots in the mouth of the south west rivers.
Seeing many gain so much in so little time made the others jealous thus poured in more resources to solidify their place. Slaver's were still standing strong even after their setback, they were able to make the Slaver's Cove and built many buildings on large reefs. But their setback was a chance for others to solidify their powers first.
Elves were able to gain the recognition of both Sparrow Lord and Deer Lord, thus was able to gain territory on a large part of the southern forest.
The Mung Nomads found new plains to ride along with the Stallion Lord.
The Vampires found good affinity with the Bat Lord.
Lamias with the Viper Lord.
Werewolves to the Grey Wolf Lord.
Kobolds were able to get allied with the Hound Lord and Jackal Lord
Demi-Humans mostly allied with a Beast Lord similar to them
The three dwarf Kingdoms were able to ally with Mole Lord, Pangolin Lord and Meerkat Lord
Many more Races were able to develop faster due to the help of their allied Beast Lords which in turn made them able to mine and gather resources which were rare in their continent but was quite abundant here in the Beast continent. But they knew they are currently in the periphery of the continent and could not even claim to have conquered at least 3% of it.
But that 3% was still able to boost their economies by at least 50% better than they were, such riches lying about which the beast find no value became the boon of the various races. Rare herbs that could fetch millions of platinum coins, metal deposits that are so abundant that it could last centuries were found, some new species of beast not even documented by scholars and many more.
A mass hysteria of exploration and exploitation happened even in the coldness of winter, where many dead bodies of soldier lie cold and alone. A price they must pay to help the Beast Lord survive in this era of supremacy, this all escalate when the Dragon Lord declared he shall advance into a Dragon King. Supported by many Beast Lords who saw the Various races were a pest they must get rid of including the weaker Beast Lords that try to hold peace and befriend these weak creatures.
Eagle Lord waged a larger assault after the Declaration out of spite to the Dragon Lord, both evenly matched thus made the ones supporting Eagle Lord declare that he shall be the one who shall be the Beast King. The Beast of this continent followed a strict hierarchy that was maintained for Generations that any Beast Lord that dares to claim to be a Beast King shall face the attacks of many others.
But too much time has passed and these were only treated as an excuse to stop ambitious Beast Lords into trying to push the boundaries. This was due to some unspoken mystery in history that made this rule because it would tilt the balance of this continent that'll unleash something unknown. But this was taken as mere rumors by these new Beast Lords that mostly support the Dragon Lord.
This would not happen should the status quo remained but this war had caused a divide and made like minded Beast Lords gather and find it fit that the old system be changed so that a new era of Beast shall rule. Old Beast Lords tried to warn the younger ones as there are still Beast Lords that have not taken this squabble seriously. But after the Dragon Lord and Eagle Lord showed intent of claiming supremacy, old and dangerous Beast Lords that slumbered were roused from their sleep.
The Various Races were alerted as another group of mighty Beast Lords appeared that made even the peaceful Beast Lords and the conservative Beast Lords group together. The new group consisted of large Lizard like Beas Lords from within the deeper parts of the continent which was a grey area for any various races. They learned from their Beast Lord ally that there are areas of different Beast Lords on the continent.
They are currently in the Eastern Part of the continent and they were mostly called the Eastern Forest Beast. The ones attacking were from the Western Beast Crags, there was also the Southern Sands and Northern Mountains.
The East had most Beast Lords but were mostly younger ones and less Elder Beast Lords like Lord Yarrid.
North has the largest mountains of the realm that houses the unwelcoming northern Beast Lords, it has the most dangerous environment in the continent and also has more magical creatures that could make many shudder at their presence.
South is a large desert which were ruled by Beast Lords owning an Oasis. It has the smallest amount of Beast Lords but has the most venomous ones living in it.
West has environments full of cliffs that acts like labyrinths, Eagle Lord's territory is nearby it's borders. They have the most largest and Oldest of the Beast Lords.
The movement of the West triggered actions from the north and south. They now learned the battles happening in the east and heard of the Dragon Lord's declaration. Thus sparked some ambitious Beast Lords to do the same.
Sabertooth Lord, Mammoth Lord and Ice Wyvern Lord of the North declared their intent.
Earth Dragon Lord(T-rex), Lord Dreadnought and Lord Quetzalcoatlus of the West
Scorpion Lord, Fire Drake/Salamander Lord and Lion Lord of the South.
But their movements are still limited due to winter, even the south experience this with their desert environment. This made the place more inhospitable due to drastic changes in weather thus made the beast living there more tenacious. But the West Lords and Northern Lords were built to be large and suitable for the winter yet they did not move their forces yet. But small battles are happening due to this matter blowing up.
The East was able to hold on due to the assistance of the various races but also that the Dragon Lord and Eagle Lord were no pushovers either. Leaders of the various races knew they must prepare as life would bloom and die at the same time should spring comes. Oblivious to all these were a group of five people inside a cave playing games on their past time.

"Again! I wasn't focused and you got lucky!" Ashea then rearranged the pieces for another game.
