"Okay, its finished!!" Brad said as he stood up and showed the rest what he had made. It was a sled made from Rib bones of the Berserkong and a leash to attach to the boars who will pull the sled. Brad showed them how to operated it and realized this was similar to the Glacier People's way of transportation.
But their were more extravagant as it's runners were made from a Platinum Ranked beast ribs. Other materials were made from at least Gold Ranked materials, this sled alone could cost about a small city. At least it was large enough to fit the three and have enough space for their bags and rations. They were teary eyed seeing the amount of work Brad had done to make them able to travel faster.
"Brad!! I'll miss you!!" Rhean hugged Brad suddenly as she cried, "*Sniff* Don't worry, I'll definitely be back here!!" Rhean hugged Brad who then patted her back.
"Now, don't cry. I know you'll be back, but just be careful cause I feel we are very far from where you Kingdoms have settled in this continent. If possible I don't want you all to go but it's your life, I am quite thankful you all trusted me and taught me many things." Brad patted the small priestess who cried on his chest.
"It has been quite a pleasure knowing you my friend. If possible I really too want you to come with use as there are many things that are enjoyable in our Kingdoms." Kent smiled as he patted Brad's shoulders, Brad too smiled.
"I'll return" Brendel only said those words as it is enough to portray her decisions. Brad too nodded at her, he really liked her straight forward attitude. She was also the one who confessed many times of her intentions to become his mate. But Brad avoided it due to his inner regret, maybe next time when he is ready then he'll consider a relationship but not now.
Maybe he is just chauvinistic deep inside that he wanted to be stable before wanting a relationship, he said many things about animal behavior especially hunters that made the four realize another part of Brad they never got to witness. His knowledge in hunting could be deemed very professional, being adventurers made them experience in living in the wild but knowledge from YouTube coming from native americans are much more useful.
Brad learned they did have some sort of television here but they did not have documentaries like BBC explaining things about how they work and history of things. They did have some sort of entertainment and news too, he heard tales of great heroes that brought this knowledge to this world. Brad was surprised that time as he felt those people might be transmigrators like him, only difference is that they all seem to be brought here through a ritual of sorts that goes by many names through different cultures.
But he didn't show it as he wasn't sure how the four would react if he said he too was from another world. Maybe he did give out signs as he never knew the common tongue but he made sure to hide any things that'll make him appear that he's from another world. Maybe cosplaying before was a bad idea but they did here there was people who could do that. Only thing he couldn't explain was how he could have armor that were so intricate in design.
Hopefully they'll forget that, he could indeed make weapons before they even arrived here and even showed them how to make some miscellaneous stuff like powder from the talc he found that made him able to improve his ceramics. Thus was able to make some Bone China which was liked by the girls very much. There were countries that made ceramics similar to these but exports from those countries were scarce on their kingdoms.
He realized he had shown many signs of being a transmigrator but he didn't care much. He's deep within this continent, if there are scheming people wanting to control him then they have to reach here first. Maybe watching to many edgy or dark isekai anime made him think that but it is still possible. Most people in power doesn't like something they couldn't control, and Brad is quite rebellious or else he wouldn't have been discharged for usurpation of authority in the army.
But that was something he never regretted, just like how he just gave something the four considered expensive. He didn't regret it, what's the use of these things if you don't make something out of them. He doesn't need coins anyway and he could sell the cheapest thing he has if he could find himself within civilization.
The five had a dinner with fruits and meat, Brad gave them some small porcelain bottles filled with the 'Stamina Wine', some with herbal wine and some paste which could be applied externally. He has a lot of stuff he doesn't really need so he gave it to them. Expensive or not it's his items, Brad smiled and looked at Brendel and Rhean.
"If you do return to repay me, then you could use some of the items I gave and sell them. I want some storage bags of mine too, it there are boxes with the same function then it is also welcome. Seed of plants and spices and various books, tools, or gadgets you could find, the rest of the money you make selling the items I gave you is yours to keep." Brad said as they ate.
"Okay, I'll buy many stuff for you!! I'll bring some animals that we can cook here too!!" Rhean was bubbly as ever as she drank some wine she grew to like. She always like strong drinks and the concentration of alcohol in the wine were high enough to even make her tipsy after a small cup.
"I'll bring beast eggs to hatch here." Brendel promised as the Orc tribes were great at rearing animals for consumption.
"I might not be able to come back here but I'll send some things through Brendel." Kent said but from time to time he looked worriedly at Ashea, he knew that she has something in her mind that made her decide to stay here. He knew they couldn't afford to travel without a healer but thankfully the potions made by Brad were effective.
"If I'll ever decide to travel I'll visit you guys to if you are held back by stuff at your home." Brad smiled as he knew that it would be a long time until he could meet them again. He looked at Ashea who still never said anything about why she stayed but he knew he'll find out sooner. He was just weirded out by the sudden change of attitude, it seemed like she became a different person all of a sudden.
"My friend, if ever you will find me. Please remember you will always be welcome to my place. I'll host a ball if I have to, just to show how much I want to express my thanks in saving our lives and giving us memories that I'll won't forget." Kent smiled as he showed the demeanor of Paladin of the Berond, the god of Truth and Justice.
"How the hell did you become so melodramatic man, but I'll take you on with that offer." Brad smiled.
"We'll be off then." Kent waved his hand before taking a slight look at Ashea behind. He turned around and made the sled go while Rhean and Brendel sat behind him waving goodbye to the Brad, Bread and Ashea. The now large boar oinked saying farewell to his kind. What the others couldn't see was the worried face of Kent as he said in a hushed voice.
"Ashea, I pray you stay safe. If he is what you say then let's hope he'll spare your life in hopes he cherished the time we spent together..." Kent looked worried as he knew what Ashea was staying for."...My friend Brad, I really wish you aren't a Nightmare, for your sake and ours as well." Kent looked forlorn as he knew that there would be a large chance things would go wrong.
