One cold morning whereas the surroundings are still dark and the sun is slowly rising to welcome a new day. All people living in the castle including few servants are still sleeping.
Although, there is someone whose already awake this early.
Walking on the castle's hallway, a steps of someone can be heard in slow succession...
The direction of the steps is going toward the garden and the owner of these steps is none other than Ajearaa.
He's walking while holding the back of his head with both hands taking his time to reached his destination.
However, he's not walking slow because he intends to... but rather, he's thinking deeply about something. A very important thing that only occured to him when he woke up past midnight.
Ajearaa is a martial arts genius in his past life. He had a natural knack at learning it; boxing, taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, judo, karate, muay thai, kendo, and arnis. He mastered it all at a very short time.
The idea to make his new body get used to those martial arts didn't crossed his mind since he's so busy thinking how to deal with the Crusaders and mastering 'Loyalty'.
He might be talented at learning various kind of martial arts, but 'Loyalty' is a different story. It's not a martial arts after all, but an extraordinary power that didn't exist on Earth.
Ajearaa realized he just can't rely on the Crusaders or the powers he'd received from {Stash}.
When he remember that he can use his martial arts, he didn't waste any more time so he got off on his bed.
His current body isn't used to those martial arts, but his mind and experience are still the same. Also, he had this feeling that his current body is even more athletic than his previous one.
To know the answer he just ask [System], which, confirm his assumption. That's reasonable though, his current body is made by an angel and even without the angel intervention he's still a child of a royal family.
He believe all royals are actually quite decent in terms of combat ability. So he should be fine, at least that's what he's thinking.
He didn't want people to see him this early and he also doesn't want to disturb people who's still sleeping... So he go outside where he can't be a nuisance to others.
He reached the garden, do some warm-up exercises and stretches for a few minutes before he do the main purpose of coming here.
After warming up he do an orthodox stance. His feet is steady on the ground, his hand both forming a fist and then...
'Swish'
The sound he makes when he throws a jab. It's just a light jab but it's fast enough to make that sound. Although he's the one who throws it, Ajearaa didn't expect to see great results right off the bat.
"Woah! That sound of my jab feels so good to hear. I feel like my body is light as a feather so let's try to do more boxing."
That's right, the martial arts he uses right now is boxing. It's one of the most oldest and renowned martial arts back on Earth. Also known as "The Sweet Science" it's the first martial arts Ajearaa had learned so he's very familiar with it. For him, it's the foundation of his martial arts skills.
He continued to shadowboxing. Everytime he throws a punch it make a sound like it's ripping the wind itself.
Suddenly, he stopped and stared at the sky...
"It's good that I can still use my boxing skills so other martial arts shouldn't be a problem. The question is, is martial arts can be of any help in this world full of anomaly such as mana, dragons and many more that didn't exist on Earth?"
He murmured... Ajearaa can just asked for [System]'s opinion but he wants to find out the answer by himself.
"Prince?"
A voice called out to Ajearaa from behind. He looked at the owner of the voice.
"Oh, it's just you. What are you doing here this early in the morning?"
The owner of the voice is none other than Sanya Winjin; Ajearaa's fiancee.
She's still wearing her pajama and her facial expression seems like she's already awake a while ago.
"I should be the one asking that." She then walked towards Ajearaa her little steps took her long before she gets near him, "It's my habit to wake up early every day. What about you?"
"... It's also my habit."
"You're doing something like a dance I didn't even see before... Is that also your habit?"
"Honestly, how long you've been watching me?" Ajearaa scratched his head and gazed at Sanya who's glaring at him, "Haaah... It's not a dance but a childish fighting technique I came up with."
Naturally that's a lie as clear as the see.
Ajearaa knows that the martial arts in his past life didn't exist in this fantasy like world because [System] told him. Taking advantage that he's a reincarnated... he can do whatever stuffs from Earth he came up with here.
"How is that training? You're not holding a sword or even a stick?"
"Of course, I'm not using a sword that's why it's a unique fighting technique."
"Suit yourself then... But why do you look preoccupied earlier before I called you?"
"It's because I'm not too sure if it's effective against people..."
"..."
Sanya went silent while Ajearaa continue to look at her curious to know what she's thinking...
After a short moment of silence...
"You're almost six right? Just wait until you attend the academy and try it to other kids."
Ajearaa looked even more concerned after hearing that... Knowing he has the same skill with better athletic ability, he's scared to himself of what he can do with kids.
"That's a no. When I said I'm not too sure if my fighting technique would work against other people... I'm talking about adults and not some kid. Not to brag, but I already know I'm too strong for ordinary kid to handle."
Sanya went into silent mode again biting her thumb. After a while, she makes a bright face that quickly change into a darkened one.
"Wow... you change expression real quick. What's the matter?"
"...I got an idea where you can use your so-called fighting technique but that's too dangerous for us, so nevermind."
"Oh? Where is it then?"
"Like I sai-"
"You'd already tell me that there's a kind of place where I can fight and test my techniques. It's too late to stop now because even if you don't tell me, I'm going to look for that place by myself. Didn't you also said that you want to watch me in the front seat? Come on."
Sanya can't say no after Ajearaa babbles with so much passion... "Okay, I'll tell you where is it, but let's bring a guard for good measure."
She said looking concerned, sure, Ajearaa has a good impression to her, she might think that Ajearaa is smart. However, Sanya doesn't trust Ajearaa's fighting ability unlike his intelligence.
Especially, she didn't have any clue about Earth's martial arts that Ajearaa used a while ago. For her, it's just a strange dance and not a fighting technique.
She doesn't want anything bad happened to someone she considered a toy to fulfill her curiosity and interest. So of course, she will get anxious when Ajearaa said he wants to go to a dangerous place.
"That's a deal."
Ajearaa replied agreeing to Sanya's proposal.
The two planned to go to that place when the sun's finally up in the sky. For the time being, Sanya went back to her room to change clothes while Ajearaa goes to his father to asked for permission to go out and to get a guard.
It's the first time for Ajearaa to see the place outside the castle so he's kinda enthusiastic.
He also change clothes and go to Sanya's room to assist her until they arrive at the carriage.
When they arrive at gate, a man in white clad greets them. He's a man in middle fifties, has a gray hair and beard that covered his chin and brown eyes, a scar in his face can be seen, and finally there's a green rapier in his left side.
It's clear to see that this man is a veteran in combat.
The man bowed to greet the coming Ajearaa and Sanya. Contrary to his serious appearance, his voice is gentle as if he's just looking out for her grandchild.
Ajearaa and Sanya finally entered the carriage. Ajearaa intended for this journey to be kept simple, so he rejected the flashy carriage his father offered him and chose this one.
This carriage look ragged and ready to collapse but it's one of the most durable carriage the royal family has to offer.
This is a deception carriage, Queen Phoebe loves to travel and she uses it quite often to travel without drawing attention.
There's a spell casted on it to make it look rough but it's sturdy and durable so it's safe to ride it.
The carriage set on its journey to a certain place when something eventful will happen.
The three people riding it, Ajearaa, Sanya and the Knight whose also a coachman.
