"Where did you find these rocks?" I asked.
"I took some crumbs from one of the buildings."
"Then that means this place is far older than even the calendar. A place from the last era."
Hearing my explanation, the group looked around to observe the skeletons walking around. They all looked at me, asking for an explanation.
"Don't look at me like that, I don't know how they still move around!"
"Well, in that case, let's go further to the inner city." The guardian pointed towards the large building in the center of the ruins.
The group agreed with him, so we continued our journey forward. Along the way, I explained to Jiang Wei and Jiang Mei how materials could be dated and their significance to preserving history. But, since they were cultivators in the end, they brought out questions that would impact more on their cultivation, such as radioactivity, atoms, and whatnot. Well, of course, I still explained it to them with the system's help.
