Chapter 41 - the capital

Alan exited the auction house's warehouse bearing a bag of already dried seeds. He said he would try his best to revive them since he still felt some life lying dormant inside. According to the appraiser's words, that bag of seeds was supposedly gifts given by nobles from the southern continent. It's too bad it died due to lack of care on its transport.

As we were about to return to the settlement room, the auction house staff approached us.

"Excuse me, sirs. I've been told your companions were already waiting for you outside."

"Thank you for informing us," I said my thanks.

With nothing else to do there, we headed outside. Near a drinks vendor across the place, the group lounged around while sipping some tea. They saw us exit the auction house and waved. While we went towards them, Anna could be seen talking to the vendor. He then looked at Alan and I and gave two more seats to Anna.
