Chapter 13 - Chapter 13-Harbinger of damnation

The next day, Luke enters the throne room. The Flame Lord sits on his throne in the castle.

"It is done, Father," Luke said.

"Good," The Flame Lord responded, "Very good. Now that that is done… Luke."

"What is it?"

"We're finally ready to move on to the final phase of my plan. Luke, there is one more kingdom we need to take."

"Of course. Who are we going to take next?"

"Luke, do not treat this like any other mission. The people on this planet are very dangerous, and advanced. Not as advanced as us, of course…"

"Then why do we need to worry?"

"Because, this is my home planet. Earth."

Luke stops for a minute. "I trust our military might against that of Earth's."

"It's not Earth's military that I'm worried about."

"Then what are you worried about?"

"Him. If he figures out that I plan to take over Earth, It'll draw him out. Our military would not stand a chance against him. But they'd only be a distraction. I'm only worried about when he gets there. Luke, gather up our strongest military might, the Harbingers of Hell."

The Harbingers of Hell is a group of over 1,000 soldiers dedicated and loyal to the Flame Lord, that can easily dispatch a major threat to the Flame Kingdom, located in the center of the kingdom barracks. Luke makes his way over, escorted by armed guards. When he gets to the kingdom barracks, Luke's guards disperse into the housing buildings. Luke then makes his way over to the training grounds where the head sergeant of the Harbingers of Hell overlooks the daily regimen. When the sergeant notices Luke, he gives him a salute.

"At ease," Luke says, "I'm here to pick up the special forces for my father's final plan."

"Of course," the sergeant replies, lowering his arm back down to his side, "Our men will be ready by the end of the afternoon. I'm sure you've traveled a long way, let me treat you to some lunch."

Luke gives the sergeant a cold stare.

"Let's just go to the mess hall."

"So when will your men be ready to head out?" Luke asks after eating a bite of mashed potato.

"They should be ready at any minute. We have a rigorous training schedule to keep out Hellsoldiers in top shape."

Luke pokes at the rest of the rations in front of him. "I'm done here. I'll be taking your men for our mission now."

The sergeant quickly gets up and follows behind Luke. "Where are you going?"

"I don't have time for your shenanigans. I'll be taking your men now." Luke replies. Exiting the mess hall, Luke makes his way over to training fields. There, he yells out for the men, taking a short break.

"What is it now, Serg-" One of the men starts, "You're not the sergeant."

"I'm the head of all the military," Luke responds, "This includes you. Come with me."

"How do I know you're really the head of the whole military?"

Luke stares down the man with a cold, dead stare. "I'm the son of the Flame, that's how."

"Son of the flame my ass," the man retorts.

Luke's eyes turn a murky, reddish black as he stares down the man, "Who I am is of no concern to you. You follow me now."

The man  backs down, away from Luke, startled by the change in Luke's expression. "O- of course…"

Luke's eyes return to normal. "Then follow me. Oh, and gather your men, too. You are to meet me at the port for takeoff. Be on time."
