Arriving in front of the man, Amber slashes down with the naginata. Raising his shield he blocks. From behind someone goes to hack her with an axe.
Kicking off the ground she spins around the naginata landing on the other side. Kicking the person she retracts the naginata and hits someone with the end of it. After pushing the guy back, she spins the naginata around deflecting a few spear attacks. With a horizontal slash, she hits several of the swords away.
"How is she already so skilled with that weapon?"
Smiling she unleashes a flourish. Backing up from her they ready for when she stops. With a thought she speeds up and appears behind them. Laughing she slashes their backs.
As they drop to the ground she kicks them out of her training area. Speeding up once again she appears in front of some others. Slashing her naginata, someone managed to block her attack. Before retracting her naginata, she kicks behind her.
The person blocks the kick with his sword, and is pushed back several steps. Laughing at their inaptitude, "Is this all you are made of. How are you all so damn arrogant about who can and can't train here, when you aren't even to be a young person? Such fools deserve to be trampled on.
"The truly strong people don't go around pushing their weight on those that might be weaker then them. Only those with an inferiority complex do such things. How can you look at yourselves and think you are all that good.
"You all are so weak willed that you can't be bothered to actually improve yourselves at all. Even those scholars are better then all of you. For they don't go around attacking all that are weaker then themselves.
"On the other hand here you are trying to limit a young person's access to training facilities, just because you can't stand to see anyone surpass yourself," she scuffs at them. Looking over at the people watching she glares, "Don't think you all are any better. Just to stand by and let people attack others.
"Do you think allowing such behavior is right. Or are you even weaker then them, that you rather watch it happen. See someone using a weapon for their first time and allowing others to attack that person is just as bad as attacking yourselves."
Someone in the crowd says, "Don't think you are better then us."
Another screams, "You are just lucky that they are weaker then you."
Bursting out in laughter she responds with, "Weaker I highly doubt that, since just like Beir which you all know, I just started going to Central Acedemy. However they are either in a higher year, or are graduated, yet their skill level is atrocious.
"They didn't even think to utilize mana. But they are somehow weaker," she shrugs her shoulders.
"If even one of them did, you wouldn't be standing."
Laughing Amber unleashes a push of mana down, "Oh really now." Raising her chin up, "Are you so sure about that?" She looks down at them.
Looking among the crowd she sees Beir. He nods at her and jumps up. Pushing everyone else off the arena. The two of them start to spar. Seeing the two of them smile as they spar, the others walk away shaking their heads.
After sparring for a while she says, "These people are rude, weak, and unskillful. Training her won't help us all that much."
"So where do you suggest we train instead then?"
"Well besides training against soldiers to increase our skill level with weapons, where else do you think I would suggest?"
"I wouldn't know I spent everyday either here or training with the soldiers. I don't go out to explore all that much." he looks directly at her.
"Just follow me then," she smiles as she goes to put up the Naginata.
Wondering where she will take them he follows her. After putting up the weapons they head out. Stopping at a steakhouse for some lunch she says, "I thought you would know of such a place. However it is harder to find then the training arenas around the city."
"Then why suggest such a place?"
"Far better then the arena's to train in."
Before he could ask another question, she gets up and leaves the steakhouse. Following her he sees that they head into the south western district. Following her, they enter into a tunnel. "Sorry I only know this one path to the place. I haven't bothered to find any other sort of path."
"No problem, it's just a bit dark here though."
With a giggle she keeps moving forward. With the few lights on the walls it is dim, one can barely see in front of themselves. So when Beir heard something other then their footsteps he was shocked.
Shaking her head she continues forward. Following behind her, he wonders what area they are actually in. Especially with the sounds of screams echoing at times. Other times one can hear the sounds of clattering chains.
With all these strange sounds he stay directly behind Amber. Chuckling Amber continues forward. At a certain point she stops in front of a big door. Looking at him she says, "You should stay right next to me the whole time. Do not and I mean do not try to explore all willy nilly.
"This area is far more dangerous then you understand. But soon you will understand. I have trained here a few times in the last year. This area is very restrictive when it comes to those without magic.
"However we don't have to worry about that restriction anymore. We will be able to do a lot more then if it was before."
Seeing him nod, she opens the door. "Amber good to see you again."
"Yes, I know you all already know of what has occurred. However we are here to do join the special program now. He needs to be registered."
"Well before I can," as he was about to say.
"Life and death. Neither can exist without the other. We pursue strength for reasons unknown. To become relentless in this pursuit we will do what it takes. This is our way, the way of the Blackened Vipers."
Hearing this he lets the two of them in. Seeing such a small room Beir is confused. After closing the door, the guy pushes his foot down and they start to go down. Curious as to where they are going, Beir looks around.
