Chapter 7 - And I Acted Like I was Ok

The cigarette smoke produced by Kleiner was so stinging that it made Vyschella cough. Not only that, the face of the beautiful woman of British descent turned red again.

Vyschella covered her mouth with both hands, and her eyes were still closed.

Kleiner stubbed out his cigarette and tossed it into the space provided just below it. He turned to Vyschella, who started to open her eyes slowly and saw the woman looking left and right while holding her head with her right hand.

"Huhh," Vyschella sighed softly, but it sounded in Kleiner's ears.

"Are you awake?"

Kleiner asked Vyschella flatly as he walked over to the bed. He looked at his legal wife sharply. The man with the ideal body as a result of going to the gym every weekend stands on the left side of the bed.

"You! What are you doing in the bathroom to get hurt like this?! Huh?!" Kleiner snapped, he pulled the blanket off his wife roughly.

"Don't ever try to run away from my grasp, or I'll kill your family!" he threatened without moving.

"Ugh!"

Vyschella gasped and covered her mouth with both hands, then turned her back to her husband.

'Damn it! Her smooth back was wrapped in a light nightgown which was dreamy, showing off her body's beauty. If only she wasn't as sick as she is now, I'll make sure to have sex with her, but wait! What's that?' asked Kleiner in his heart.

He sat down beside Vyschella intending to look at the small round black mark on her back.

"Oh, birthmarks," Kleiner said then quietly.

"What's it?"

Vyschella turned back around and their two pairs of beautiful eyes stared at each other.

Vyschella recalled Kleiner's data given by Drake as well as Villearisaーthe twin sister, who was supposed to be married to this handsome man.

The handsome face belonged to the sole heir to the Stonevrustarios family, the number one wealthiest ruler in the capital. However, not only that, a young entrepreneur whose full name is Kleiner Rutherford Stonevrustarios is a genius.

He managed to overthrow the traitors in his family's business empire in just a short time and under his rule, the Stonevrustarios family again became the most successful family in the last five years.

An awkward situation enveloped them. Kleiner thought back to the first long night he spent with his wife. He knew that he had physically hurt Vyschella because he had to serve her insatiable lust, but he also knew that even though they had made physical contact, they were still awkward with each other.

"Grandpa called us to his mansion," Kleiner said flatly, as he kissed the skin of Vyschella's neck gently.

"Are you wearing Channell Grand Extract vanilla perfume?"

"Oh, why didn't you wake me up?" Vyschella became embarrassed.

Yes, Vyschella was embarrassed because this was the first time for her that a man asked about the fragrance she wore on her body. She tried to sit up straight, though his head still felt dizzy.

"Ohh, my head," complained Vyschella while gently massaging the area of her head.

Kleiner grabbed her female body and lay down gently. He said, "Don't push yourself if you haven't recovered! I already tell Grandpa that you're sick."

Vyschella held Kleiner's left hand for support and looked into her husband's shady eyes.

"T-thank you."

"So, what did you wear for perfume?"

Kleiner was dissatisfied at not having heard Vyschella's answer.

"Only cheap perfume that I bought in a shop when I was hung out with my friends. Zarra Maroun is the perfume I wear."

Vyschella didn't understand why Kleiner was asking in such detail, but whatever her husband's question was, she had to answer if she could.

There were no more answers or questions asked by Kleiner. The wife was forced to turn to her left and found Kleiner sleeping with a tired face.

"Huh, what exactly are you doing to make your face look tired like this?"

Vyschella asked herself as she covered Kleiner's body with the blanket she was wearing. Now, both of them are in the same blanket.

'I did nothing, but think of you, Cia,' answered Kleiner inwardly when he heard his wife's question vaguely.

'I'm so curious about you, and why don't you remember me? And I acted like I was OK!' cried Kleiner inwardly in disappointment.

With his eyes still closed, Kleiner pulled Vyschella's body into his warm embrace so that his wife could hear her husband's heartbeat.

'What's this feeling? Is it possible that love can be nurtured when spending time together?'

A strange question appeared in Vyschella's mind and the question also appeared in Kleiner's mind until they finally fell asleep in the cradle of the dream world.

**

Two hours later, Kleiner woke up and opened his bedroom door. He walked down the stairs to the study on the ground floor of his mansion.

"Young Master, are you still working in the afternoon?" asked Roselly suddenly.

Kleiner turned to the source of Roselly's voice, who was already behind him.

Furiously, he asked, "Since when do you like to follow me?" Kleiner asked angrily to Roselly, who had startled him.

Roselly paused for a moment in surprise at Kleiner's question, which she thought was inappropriate.

"I'm so sorry if I started you, Young Master. I didn't mean to."

"In that case, you can start by greeting me and not asking right away!"

"All right then. I'm deeply sorry," said Roselly, looking down.

"It's good to know the boundaries of this house," Kleiner said as he left his butler.

Creak!

Kleiner opened his study door roughly. He took out his cell phone and immediately called the assistant.

"Yes, Young Master? Isn't it a holiday?" asked the voice on the other end loudly.

"Did you spend the whole day just sleeping?" asked Kleiner when he heard Oscar's voice sound like someone just waking up.

"Yes, that's right, Young Master. I rarely get eight hours of sleep a day," Oscar answered quickly and honestly.

"Then I congratulate you, Oscar!" cried Kleiner furiously. Oscar was the second person to spoil Kleiner's mood.

"Ugh? Congratulations on what, Young Master?" asked Oscar uncertainly.

"Congratulations, you've just been fired, and please find a new employer, who can pay you 26 pounds an hour!"

"Young Master, you put it this way … I didn't mean to thoroughly ignore you. So, what can I do for you now?"

"Bring Cyra's search report in five minutes!" Kleiner said firmly. He was very impatient to see the results of the work of the detectives he had just hired.

"Alright, Young Master. I rushed to your place. But where are you now?"

"The study," Kleiner replied curtly.

Beep!

Kleiner unilaterally hung up the phone, and he opened the window wide. He looked straight ahead and thought of the woman, who might still be sleeping in their bridal chamber.

"I've to confirm the truth," Kleiner said quietly as he gazed at the view outside the window.
