Synopsis
I have a mental condition called multiple personality disorder. There are three personalities I can conjure: 1. Goofy. As his name suggests, his personality is very kind and clumsy. 2. Logical. The rationalist. The personality that relies entirely on his reasonings. 3. Monster.................................................................. I also have a mental condition called Videographic memory. I can remember any movements I see and can flawlessly mimic them. In a world where underworld organizations rule supreme, where physical strength is often biologically unnatural, where guns and firearms have ceased to exist. It's almost too perfect that I'm born in this world, almost as if fate favors my well-being. Almost as if fate is telling me to rule this world... To be the best!

Chapter 1 - In Which, A Transfer Student Named Kenma Houtarou.

An exquisite two stories penthouse with a stair leading into a modern room filled with technology.

Sitting on the Herman Miller chair, a woman in her twenties is watching her monitor with her feet placed on the table in a careless demeanor.

She is a stunning person with white hair with stripes of blue on the tip.

A beautiful white rose...

I may need to warn you, however.

Do not mistake her beauty as a sign of innocence. For a rose... has thorns, far more lethal than any needle could puncture.

Lethal but gorgeous, dangerous but enchanting, infectious but hypnotizing.

That is who she is, sitting on the throne of the world, viewing humans as mere toys all ready for her to play with.

Gazing at the world through the colossal window in front of her with ever-lasting condescension.

Right now, she is at a very essential task.

The monitor in front of her has shown her a promise. A promise that could-- perhaps, win her the world that once was her father's, once the most dangerous man alive.

And end all parties that are aiming for her destruction.

And yes, that promise is a human... a boy.

You see, in this world, human strength is not normal. Well, not at least after Maranatha, the 2011's world-changing epoch.

Humans here can punch through walls and bend metal with minimum strength.

Many speculated that this phenomenon happened because of Maranatha, but with no evidence, they can't really bring this theory out to its fullest potential.

Many things changed after this epoch. The most observable one is that guns have ceased to exist.

Nukes have been sent straight at the sky. Gunpowders exploded out of the blue. Firearms, missiles, nuclear warheads, machine guns... all gone.

No one knew who caused Maranatha. No one knew why. No one knew how.

Even the great Madame Moriarty, the lady we talked about before, has not figured it out.

It's now the year 2019. 8 years after the epoch, and yet no one has even managed to come close to solving this mystery.

This is the story of a lady who will later manipulate a promising boy into joining her, becoming her hitman, causing power disbalance over the world.

This is also the story of how that same boy grew out of her manipulations, and conquer her, her empire, the world she belongs in, and everything above.

Without further ado, let's get back to the story.

The door to the room opens to reveal an old butler wearing a silver-plated monocle. "Madame Moriarty, I have brought you your tea." The old butler said.

"Oh. Otto! Put it on the table, please." As Otto put the tea on the table, Moriarty placed her hand on his shoulder, halting his way as she said with a threatening tone. "This is chamomile, right?"

"Of course, Madame." He says and walks off before giving a glance at what appears on the monitor. "Watching another Ruler match, Madame?"

The advanced monitor shows a boy around 12 years old punching, kicking, and plundering many people that are evidently older than him with an unsatisfied grin on his face.

"No, this one is something more intriguing." The lady said as she took a sip from the tea.

"This boy... He's quite good, but it's clear that he is inexperienced. Has he been bothering you, madame?" His eyes flared a dangerous color, "If he is, then I shall proceed with his elimination."

"No, in fact, he intrigues me, Otto."

"Oho? That's new."

"He has a similar talent as yours."

"Photographic memory, Madame?"

"No... Something similar but better. Videographic memory. A memory that can store any movement and a body that can copy that movement flawlessly."

"Hmm... May I ask about his name, Madame?"

Moriarty smirked.

--

One year later, in 2020.

"Kenma Houtarou. Please take care of me this year."

A transfer student with black hair wearing a pair of cross earrings introduced himself in front of the class with a face full of... unnatural glee.

Looking very normal-- just a tad bit more muscular than other students. However, what's inside his brain might be too difficult to comprehend-- one could even say it's rambunctious.

He has multiple mental abnormalities. One of which is 'Videographic Memory' this one allows him to copy and remember anything he sees.

The other one is 'Multiple personality disorder.' Self-explanatory.

"Waahh... Isn't he cute?" Mumbled a girl, which didn't go unnoticed by me.

"Holy shit, he looks like a cat."

"He has big arms as well. Guys, I think he works out."

The girls are already complimenting me. HAHAHA! I see many boys looking at us, jealous of my account.

I smiled mischievously while I secretly tensed up my muscles.

"You can sit over there by Kota's chair. Study well, okay?" The depressed homeroom teacher taps my shoulders while leaving the class.

"Okay, sir."

*CLICK*

What in the world was that introduction? Can you even call that an introduction?

*CLICK*

HAHAHAHA! What? Are you jealous that I'm able to pick up girls?

*CLICK*

Shut up, Goofy!

*CLICK*

Logic-kun, I thought we discussed this last night. I will be the one who speaks, you will be the one who thinks, and Monster, who's currently dormant, will be the one who fights.

*CLICK*

So stop being such a goofball before I take over the Switch and NO!

Monster can't go outside. He is unstable. Did you not see what he did to those thugs invading our homeland?

*CLICK*

Hai! Hai! Fine! Don't be such a jerk about it. Geez.

As I walk into the chair assigned to me by Dama-sensei with an abnormal amount of glee, I look to the right of my seat and see a black-haired boy wearing glasses. Behind my seat is a petite girl with an identical face to the boy, just more feminine.

The boy is playing with his phone while the girl is reading a book.

I squinted my eyes, trying to see what the book's title was because I myself am quite a bookworm.

I came from a city where advanced technologies are an unfamiliar concept. Reading books and doing sport is the only entertainment that exists there.

Recently, I gained quite an enormous wealth and traveled to this city to acquire higher education.

Tokyo city. The city where technological development is at its peak. I arrived here a week ago to adapt to the modern environment before signing up for a scholarship to this school.

I purchased my own phone.

I studied this city, well, actually Logical studied this city, but since we are technically the same person, I guess you can say that I studied this city.

Technologies like phones, X-boxes, Playstations, and laptops are entirely alien to my life. I never would've thought that technology had already reached this point.

It was that time when I wandered around the city, trying to find something to eat. I stopped to see an 'Anime Bookstore' sign.

I didn't know what anime was. I just saw the sign 'bookstore' which indicates that this store sells books and I love books. So, I took a peek at what was inside.

And there it was... A book with a gigantic title plastered on the cover said 'Two Piece,' and that is the same book the girl behind my seat is currently reading.

I sit down on my seat while saying, "Hello! Kenma-kun desu!" I wave my hand full of spirit.

*CLICK*

How can one be so embarrassing?

*CLICK*

Shaddap and let me do my work!

The girl then halted her reading, used a piece of tissue to mark her progress, and paid full attention to me.

"Mere mortal dares to interrupt me?!"

"Ah... shit!" I hear the boy beside me mumble. "You made a mistake interrupting her. Hello, by the way, my name is Kota."

"Kota-kun!" I then gaze at the chuuni girl, "So? What's yours?"

"Hoh? Do you think a mortal such as you possess the qualification to inquire about the name of a being such as I?! FOOL! I shall never give out my name! Hahahahaha!"

Kota frowned, thinking that she pestered me, "U- umm... Her name is Inu. I'm her twin brother. Nice to meet you, Kenma."

*CLICK*

The boy's acting weird. I think he's afraid of you- no- I think he's trying to be friends with us but was worried that the girl blew that chance.

*CLICK*

Oh? Nice deduction.

I tried to force a smile while seeing Kota's terrified reaction, which I clearly didn't expect. I thought I struck my first impression as a friendly guy. Are my massive arms the reason?

Hmm... Doesn't matter. Just leave it to the expert to make friends.

"Kota-kun. What do you love to do?"

"Ah- Umm... Watching movies..."

"Woooh! Movies... I'm from Honma city, so movies and technology are still unfamiliar concepts to me. Will you teach me?" Look at me! Kenma is going home with a friend, and that's because of me. Beat that, Logic.

*CLICK*

*sigh*

*CLICK*

Hehe... What's up? Huh? Your intelligent brain can't handle simple friend-making?

*CLICK*

No, it's primarily because of the fact that you said 'Kenma' from a third perspective. We ARE Kenma, Goofy.

We are personalities that reside inside Kenma's head.

It's just... Urgh! It irritates and utterly disgusts me. When you said that it felt like my soul was splitting like the Titanic.

*CLICK*

Your point?

*CLICK*

Don't call Kenma from a third-person perspective. It feels uncomfortable.

*CLICK*

*sigh* FINE!

I look at Kota, who is now sweating bullets, but why??? I didn't do anything considered scary.

"Kota-kun, why are you quiet? I asked you a question."

"Y-you're from Honma city?" He looks at me with a trembling body.

"Mhm. Why?"

"What do you mean 'why'?! Didn't you hear the rumors?!"

"What rumors?!" I'm now also curious. What rumor is it that it can scare a 15-year-old high schooler?

"What?! You don't know? I thought you said you were from Honma city." He said. "Honma city is a gang-infested place. No one gets out of there alive, but here you are."

I tilt my head.

He gestures at me to look at his phone, which appears to be an article about Honma city.

"The gangs are gone mysteriously. Speculated to be done by a triad or a larger criminal organization. Speculated to be dead. Honma city is saved by a mysterious hero." I dictate what is written in the article.

*CLICK*

Goofy, Isn't that Monster's doing?

*CLICK*

SHHHH! Shhhh... He can't know that it's us. Never!

*CLICK*

Why are you telling me this? You're the one who controls the body.

*CLICK*

...

*CLICK*

Goofy? Why are you sweating?

*CLICK*

I'm nervous. What if Kota knows?

*CLICK*

You know what? *sigh* I'll take control of the Switch for now. I'll handle this in the most logical manner.
