Chapter 6 - A Gift from Ray.

"How was yesterday's shooting? It went smoothly?" Jill asked as he ate the food on his tray.

They sat together at the very end table near the glass wall.

"Not bad."

Jill grumbled, "You should have taken me yesterday. It's not that he ran away without telling me."

Ray smiled slightly. "The shooting was until the evening. You'll be lazy to wait for me. Besides, I don't want you to scream hysterically when I see Leanne in front of your eyes."

"Oh, that's right! How is Leanne's face when viewed in person? Is she a woman more beautiful than the one in the photo?" Jill asked curiously.

Ray was silent for a moment, imagining Leanne's face yesterday night. "Not bad."

"No-not bad? Gosh! Those eyes of yours are already damaged apparently." Jill said, feeling offended by Ray's opinion of Leanne. "You're overconfident in your face, to the point that you're taking Leanne for granted. My goodness, why do I have such an annoying friend like you."

Ray hit Jill's arm lightly. "Stop praising her like that. She is just a regular model. Nothing more."

"You're the one who's an ordinary model!" Jill shouted irritably. Several people in the canteen had turned their heads in confusion.

"You want to die, huh?" Ray threatened.

"Hehe... Sorry, get out of control. You started it yourself. I wouldn't be like this if you didn't fish my anger."

Ray snorted. "Once you do it again, die you."

"Hey, hey, don't threaten me like that. You're not going to destroy a career you just started just to kill someone like myself right" Jill said with a scruffy face. "Oh yes, when will the magazine be released?"

"I don't know, I haven't gotten any news yet. I haven't had time to see the photos they sent me either."

"They sent you the photos? Woah! Can I see it?"

"No." Ray moved out of his chair.

"What? Hey! Why shouldn't it be!" Jill shouted at Ray, who left the dining table. "Hey, Ray!"

Ray dropped his bag carelessly on the floor. Sat at the study desk and turned on his computer. He opens the E-mail to see the incoming messages. Opening one message that is at the very top, it's from its agency. As they said before, he was sent some ready-made photos to store personally.

Ray downloads the file that is in the message and when he finishes the download, he opens it in a computer document. About ten-plus photos of her with Leanne appeared on the monitor. Photos of when they pose in a café, library, in the living room of the house, and lastly, during the kissing scene between the two of them.

"Ray?"

Ray gasped in shock. Directly turned off her computer when her mother walked into her room without knocking on the door.

"Mother, knock on the door first before entering my room," Ray grumbled.

"Mom has knocked it several times, but you didn't answer it." His Mother replied.

"Oh, yes, sorry..." Ray scratched his non-itchy nose swiftly, nervously. "I was working on something, so I didn't hear Mom knocking on the door. I'm sorry,"

"Yes it has, dinner is ready. Come down for a while for dinner." The Mother said, still holding the door algae.

"Okay, I'll be down in a while," Ray muttered. His mother then closed the door to her room. He let out a long breath. Turning on his computer again and looking at the photo of himself with Leanne.

Ray chose one photo when they looked at each other. Print it on the printing machine and cut it out. He then attached the photo to a brown board containing a collection of photos of himself as a child to adulthood, and a collection of photos during school. He put a picture of himself and Leanne next to a picture of him with a man whose face was hollowed out.

"Leanne Dixon, you're an annoying girl." Ray Leanne's face lightly. Then moved off the chair and went down to the dining table.

The mother was already sitting there, waiting for her child to come over for dinner together.

"Ray,"

"Yes, Mother?" Ray turned his head, looking at his mother, who was picking up rice for him.

"You didn't forget—"

"I know, Mom doesn't need to tell me," Ray said, interrupting his mother's words. "Just leave me alone. Mom won't even think about anything else, understand?"

"Hey," Ray called, patting Alena on the shoulder. The girl gasped in shock. Too focused on what was inside his locker to the point of noticing Ray's presence beside him.

"Glory, you shocked me." Alena quickly closed her locker as Ray tried to take a peek. She glanced at the few people who looked at her. This is wrong. "What do you want?"

"Take you out."

"Why should I," Alena grumbled. She doesn't want to be bullied at one school just because she's seen together with Ray.

"Because it has to be you. Come along, just for a while." Ray pulled Alena's hand forcibly. took the girl out of the classroom passage, passing by a few children looking at them, astonished.

Alena shook off Ray's hand as she passed the gate. "You're trying to get me exiled, huh?"

Ray chuckled lightly. "Why should I do that? Come on, the bus has come." He again pulled Alena's hand to get into the bus.

About half an hour passed. They stopped at the bus stop. Walked into a small alley and found one shop selling many unique objects.

"Ray, where did you find a place like this?" Alena was amazed by all the things in the store. From ethnic objects, magic, and many other things that are cool there.

"It's a long story." Ray was busy looking through the contents of the store.

Likewise, Alena is interested in bracelet accessories that have unique shapes. She is a woman looking at rings, bracelets, and necklaces that have beautiful shapes. Of the many models that exist. She likes a bracelet made of blue silk thread with white ait pearls, silver-plated, and a matching colored buckle.

Suddenly Ray's hand stretched out and took the bracelet off. "You like this?" Ray asked Alena.

"Uh, yes, the bracelet is good."

Ray opened the bracelet hook. "Stretch out your hand." Commandments. Alena did it without protest. He put the bracelet on Alena's white handbag.

"H-hey, what are you doing?" Alena was shocked when it turned out that Ray intended to put her on her wrist.

"It fits in your hand," Ray muttered.

"What?"

"Carl, I took this one too!" Ray exclaimed, raising Alena's hand.

"Okay, all right!"

"You know the owner of this shop?" Alena asked incredulously. The woman glanced at the bulging bracelet in her hand. Oh, it's really beautiful.

"I come here a lot. Carl is already like a big brother to me." Ray replied. "Don't lose the bracelet. This is for you." He said again, more like a threat.

"Oh? T-thank you." Alena looked down embarrassedly. Touched the bracelet in his hand. "Uh, but what did you buy?" She turned to look at Ray, who was walking toward the cashier.

"Something."

"Something what?" Alena was curious. Ray was picking up the wallet in his bag to pay.

"Thanks, Carl."

"You're welcome, Ray." The man was tall, fair-skinned, and the curls were smiling faintly. " She's a sweet girl," He commented, looking at Alena.

Ray just answered her with a small smile. "Until later, Carl."

Ray walked out of the store, followed by Alena, who was behind him. "He just said what?"

"It's nothing." Ray glanced at his watch, which showed 5pm "You want to eat for a while?" Alena nodded in agreement.
