Chapter 79 - Chaotic Implosion

Asher's eyes widened as he listened to Noah's words. His clenched hands suddenly weighed as much as lead as his breath quickened all of a sudden.

"That confirms it." Noah's icy cold eyes glared down on him while a silent rage built within him.

"That explains why they've been able to track you." Emery spoke with an apathetic voice that matched Noah's. "You've been carrying around a device that allows them to pick up its unique Essence signature."

"Asher, you bastard!" The teenage male that had spoken up to Noah before yelled out, going as far as to point his sword at the golden haired traitor. "You want to kill us all? Why would you do such a despicable thing?"

"No, no. I swear I didn't know, guys you have to believe me, I di-…" Asher's words paused as he noticed the expressions that the members of his group displayed towards him. An expression of distrust. They hadn't unsheathed their blades but judging from the way their hands inched towards their respective blades, he knew that they were already onto him. If he made any wrong move, he was sure that they would not hesitate to cut him down.

Suddenly his face contorted with rage as he pointed at Noah. "This-this is your fault! Why can't you just die quietly?! Why must you resist your predetermined death?!"

"He's lost it." Leonel could only sigh witnessing his cousin's mad ravings, he looked to the side to notice the sudden disappearance of his friend.

Noah appeared before Asher, holding the latter up with his dragonified hand, the claws sinking into his skin and drawing blood. His voice sounded neutral, yet it had a vibe that sent chills up everyone's spines. "I have the perfect method to deal with traitorous bastards like you."

A core appeared above his free palm but the eyes of those watching flickered when they noticed the chaotic nature of the Essence within it, indicating its nature as a Chaotic Essence core. But their eyes widened in shock as they watched Noah easily manipulate the chaotic Essence leading it directly into Asher's Essence Core, causing a drastic change on the blond haired teenager's face.

Everyone knew what was happening. It was a sort of torture method done on criminals in the past. Sending Chaotic Essence into the Essence Core of a Battlesoul master would make their Essence clash with it, ultimately leading to an internal implosion that was both painful and powerful.

Yet Noah being the one doing it, caused the group of students formerly on Asher's team to be shocked.

"You-you can manipulate Chaotic Essence?!" Elaine really couldn't fathom how an existence such as the boy before her was. Chaotic Essence was a phenomenon that Battlesoul masters couldn't touch until the Expert Stage, yet Noah was doing just that.

Hearing her question, Leonel looked at her like anyone would look at an idiot. "Are you an idiot? He has an Emperor Grade Battlesoul, of course he can withstand the damage of Chaotic Essence to some extent."

Elaine paused before slightly blushing in embarrassed but she couldn't be blamed. Her Battlesoul wasn't a Body type one so she didn't possess Blood Essence, of course her teachings didn't involve the partial immunity that Emperor Grade Blood Essence could grant. Plus it wasn't that Noah wasn't taking any damage, he was just ignoring it.

"Stop! Please stop! I'll tell you who sent me! Please, I don't want to die like this!" Asher's fear shot through the roof, tears and snot quickly staining his face. But his eyes soon bled red as an agonizing pain rocked his body, prompting a loud scream from him. "AAARGGHHHHH!!! PLEASE MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE! AARRRGGHHH!!!!"

The students knew that the person before them had attempted to betray them and leave them for dead but even they felt pity listening to his agonizing screams. And a slight fear appeared in their eyes as they gazed at the transmigrator.

"I don't care." Noah's hands loosened after the current of Chaotic Essence he was sending into the teenager's Essence Core ceased. His cold eyes left the miserable figure of the despairing and pained teenager on the floor and focused on the group behind him. "Run, they're already near."

By the time he was done speaking, he had already began sprinting to the south, ignoring the screams of the person he left behind. Soon a loud explosion rang out behind them, along with multiple screams of despair, obviously from the bandits that had managed to catch up to them due to their pause in retreat.

The remaining 8 students stood, witnessing the intimidating scene of multiple bandits that had survived Asher's Essence Core explosion, numbering about a hundred.

"Can we take them?" Elaine revealed a bit of fear as she stared at the numbers of the enemies before her.

Noah simply took a step forward and viewing the pursuing bandits as if they were multiple ants moving towards him. His state of mind was truly impressive as most of those bandits possessed battle strength ranging from the 4th to 9th level of the Intermediate stage while he was currently at the 7th Level of the Intermediate stage.

The transmigrator also knew how impossible the battle he was faced with was if he fought normally. So he decided not to.

"Limit Breaker: Omnipotent Body."

His Blood Essence converged suddenly, compressing at his heart while the air around him became chaotic, surprising his school mates as they had never witnessed such a show of power.

Then the clear sound of a chain breaking resounded, making even the charging bandits stop as they witnessed the surprising sight before him.

Noah seemed to balloon up into a 2 meter with intimidating muscles that threatened to tear through his clothes while his body continuously released steam that forced his hair into a suspended state, making float upwards. His icy cold silver eyes stared straight at the bandits before he brandished his sword. "Violent Storm Sword: Gale Blade."
