Time ticked faster than expected and before a snap of a finger it was lunch break. Kayla proposed for them to go somewhere outside work place for lunch since the duration for their lunch break is approximately an hour.
"You look so down today." Kayla commented.
"What happened to you, did you take the drugs I left for you this morning?" Kayla asked seeing no improvement in her countenance.
"Kayla I'm fine, it's just.... nothing." Alvira gave a short pause rethinking her plan to tell Kayla about what turned her mood sour.
"Are you sure?"
"....Yes! I am." After a sigh she replied.
"Okay." Kayla decided not to push forward because after all, if Alvira wanted to share it with her then she would have. Nothing will stop her. But oh well, since it's something she didn't want to tell her, she will let it slide and not take it to heart. They are best friends! dosen't mean one has to know about everything happening with the other.
Silence reigned as they both sipped from their drinks with different thoughts in their minds. No it was more like Kayla wondering what is wrong with her friend. "Remember the dude I bumped into last night?" She decided to break the silence.
"Mmmm yeah the one in black?" Alvira asked with a slight look of uninterest.
"Yeah, you noticed too?"
"I did."
"Wasn't it... like maybe weird?"
"How do you mean?" Alvira asked Kayla who seemed to be driving at something.
"As in.... forget it, I'm just overthinking." Kayla said.
"Girl you looked confused." Alvira said, curious to know what Kayla meant. Her interest and curiosity had been piqued.
"Worry not, I think you are right, I'm just confused." Kayla accepted with half a smile.
"What actually made you think so? You were about saying something and you stopped without going on?" Alvira voiced, raising her brows that seemed to be interpreted to Kayla as 'That is so unlike you.'
With a heavy heave of relief, Kayla shifted her drink aside and drew close to Alvira. "Look, He..... kind of look familiar."
"And By familiar you mean...?" Alvira questioned not quite getting the point.
"You know what? let's leave it that way, me myself I don't get the point either." Kayla said giving up.
"Kayla?!"
"Huh!"
"Did something happen? I mean is something bothering you that you are not telling me?" Alvira asked, her gaze clouded with suspicion.
"No! nothing like that." She denied, under Alvira's watchful eyes which were keenly glued on her like she was trying to guage out something secretive from her.
"Fine!" Kayla groaned in relent. "I meant he look like the guy who saved me, us from that disgusting alley of a place." Kayla explained.
"What do you mean us? and come to think of it you didn't tell me how you found your way out from there." Alvira inquired. This was getting more interesting.
"I didn't actually, it just skipped my mind and I know it skipped yours as well."
"Okay fine then start." Alvira said to her.
"....Well that day, after we separated paths."

The pungent smell coming from deep inside the Tomb like area was suffocating to inhale. With one hand on her nose and the other holding the phone touch, seeking for an escape root. Kayla tried her Best to not give up and just faint. But encouraged herself to move further.
The path was a long way to go, she couldn't even see an ending point, it just kept going and going on. Resembling the sky that had no end. "What have I gotten myself into lord!" Little tears strolled down her cheeks like drizzling rain. The thought of just ending it there for a while and have a small rest was just lingering at the back of her mind. She was all sweaty and stained with stains she didn't even know their origin.
Before you knew it, She saw a blurry flash of something, it was blurry and with a lightening speed. Yes something just passed her by, she knew, infact the breeze from the speed was still felt on her skin. Instantly Kayla started to shiver. Out of fear!.
Doing nothing but to close her eyes tight and mould herself to ground, Kayla whimpered softly. The tears that were only trickling out before, now came in huge sobs. "Oh Lord, where am I? I'm doomed, completely doomed." That one flash incident broke her courage, she could do nothing but curl herself up and weep relentlessly.
The swooshing sound came again, this time. "Don't come at me! please don't come at me, it wasn't right of me coming here, please please. Ahhhh!!" She jerked and screamed when she felt a hand land on her shoulders.
"Hey, hey!." It was a voice, a strange voice she had never heard. She whipped her head up immediately. There it was, it was a Man. She looked left and right but nothing strange, only him.
"Are you okay?" The man asked her. She couldn't see his face clearly but she could see little traceable things like his dark eyes, and trace of his face.
She was strangely silent for a second before jumping right at him. "Please help, I'm lost, I'm trapped, I don't know....I don't know." She cried.
"Shhh, It's okay, it's okay. I know the way out from here you just have to follow me alright?" He said to her in a calm and gentle voice.
"Okay!" She whispered.
He stepped forward and she outrightly grabbed his hand making him pause to look at her for a while and their hands. "Don't let go." He told her which she readily replied with a hasty nod.

"That's how I made it out."
Alvira was silent after the summarization. As if she was speechless and got nothing to say.
"You mean....You mean all this happened you didn't even tell me?" Alvira said after gaining back reality.
"I said it skipped my mind Al."
"A thing like this skipped your mind? How Kay! How?" Alvira grunted in anger.
"I'm sorry my bad."
"Sh*t! this...this....So what happened after?"
"Mmhmm that's were I'm confused."
"What do you mean." Alvira questioned with more curiousity.
"Immediately he took me out and I saw you with that injured guy, I can swear he was right behind me but before I could turn to say thank you he wasn't there, like he disappeared into thin air."
"What!!"
