" Hey, how was training today?" Ian asked Noriko.
It had been a full day since he had woken up and he was still in the infirmary. Mostly due to the fact that Josh was still asleep and unable to fully heal the rest of his injuries.
" It was so hard. Summers and Logan and just kept drilling us. Ughhh!" Noriko groaned and collapsed down onto Ian's bed.
Ian laughed and started rubbing the top of her head.
" Well, it sounds like I missed a good time." Ian burst out into a fit of laughter at the girl.
Noriko, however, simply rolled her eyes in frustration.
" So, how was your day? Did McCoy tell you if you were getting out of here anytime soon?" Noriko asked.
" Naaaah. If Josh doesn't wake up soon, I'll be stuck in here for at least a few more weeks at the least." Ian replied. " Which, I'm not entirely against. I get to rest. I get my food first. and I get to see my beautiful girlfriend every day." Ian stated.
Noriko smiled and leaned up so she could kiss Ian on his lips.
" I hate it though." Noriko told the boy.
" Why's that?" He asked.
Noriko slid her hand up the bed sheets to Ian's chest.
" Because it's so hard to get a moment alone." Noriko told the boy.
Ian smirked and kissed Noriko.
" Well, if it's a moment you want." Ian spoke. He pulled back his blanket and scooted over for Noriko to lay beside him.
Noriko humored the boy, crawling up the bed and taking her spot next to him.
Ian then reached over and started taking her gauntlets off.
" Are you sure?" Noriko asked.
" I know how much you hate these things. Come on. I'll make sure we don't blow up." Ian told the girl.
Noriko nodded and Ian removed the heavy objects, setting them down on his table in case she needed them later.
" Hank!" Ian shouted.
As if on cue, the fuzzy blue scientist came strolling into view.
" Yes?" He asked.
" Hey, do you think you could bring me Dinner?" Ian asked.
" Sure, what would you like?" Hank asked.
" Everything." Ian told the man.
Hank stared at the boy, his eyes wide and nearly popping out of his head.
" Ahem." Hank coughed clearing his throat. " Very well. I shall return momentarily." Hank told the two.
Ian looked to Noriko and smirked.
" All right, what do you want to watch?" Ian asked the girl.
"Hmmmm, you pick." Noriko replied.
" Okay, Hellsing Ultimate." Ian stated, he pulled out the remote and turned on the tv.
" Are you sure this is fine?" Noriko asked the boy.
" Oh, who else is gonna be in here? Josh is sleep, and Mr. McCoy will be too busy with his work to be bothered. Besides, we haven't been able to go out on another date in a long time. So, this is perfect. We can have an in-date day." Ian told the girl.
" Alright." Noriko scooted closer to Ian and hugged his chest.
Ian sighed happily and leaned back and for the rest of the night things were peaceful.
Ian and Noriko enjoyed their date, while the rest of the institute took to spending time with their teachers and their loved ones.
It was a good time for the mutants. But the same could not be said for the X-men's enemies, who were quickly gathering their forces.
