" I'm telling you guys, I'm a mutant." Kim exclaimed.
" That's not funny, Kim." David replied a little aggressively.
" Calm down, David." Dani told the boy.
" My sister's claiming she's a mutant, Dani. How am I supposed to be calm?" David asked.
" What's wrong with being a mutant, Daid? You make it sound like it's such a bad then when in hindsight jack as-ugh uhm, Jerk face. You're a mutant too!" Ian told the boy.
" You two, none of that!" Dani shouted. " Now, let's start over. Why do you think you're a mutant, Kim?" Dani asked the little girl.
" The ghost spoke to me. He's thrown things and trashed rooms, but he never spoke to any of you guys. It's my mutant power. I can talk to dead people." Kim exclaimed.
" You've seen one to many movies." Noriko told the girl.
Dani ignored Nori and walked up to Kim.
" He spoke to you? Just now?" Dani asked.
" I swear, Dani, I'm not lying. Up there." Kim spoke. She pointed to the observation deck.
" Look, Kim, we haven't proven that there's a ghost here." David told the girl.
" No, David... There is someone up there. And Kim's right. Whoever it is... He's dead. I can feel it." Dani explained to the boy.
Suddenly the danger room, turned back on and an Image of Magneto appeared in front of the New Mutants.
" You've challenged me for the last time, X-Men." The Fake Magneto shouted.
" Hey, that's Magneto! This is so not good. Even if it is a simulation! He used to battle all the X-men and win!" Josh exclaimed.
" NOT HELPING JOSH!" Ian shouted.
" Wow, I guess you really do see dead people Kim." Noriko exclaimed.
" Laurie! Look out!" Josh exclaimed. He pushed the girl out of the way as a beam fell towards her and was hit by it himself.
" Josh!" Laurie exclaimed.
" All right, time to fight." Ian leapt and Magneto but the second he left the ground he felt his entire body freeze.
" Hm, all that metal in your body, you would think, Wolverine would have taught you what that means when fighting me. allow me to demonstrate." The Fake magneto spoke.
" How does he have Magneto's powers? I thought this was a hologram?" Ian asked. " AGH! AHHHHHHH!"
Magneto began pulling off the Metal attached to his body, inch by inch and pulled it all out through his mouth.
" IAN!!!!" Dani yelled. " Magneto's helmet shields him from mental powers. I can't use my illusions on him as long as he's wearing it!" Dani shouted.
" On it!" Jay replied. He flew up behind Magneto and snatched his helmet off.
" You want my helmet dear boy? Then take it." Magneto told Jay. He smashed his helmet into Jay's face and made him slam against the wall and broke his neck.
" Jay, no!" Noriko shouted. " No! He's messing with my gauntlets. I'mpullingintomuchenergy!" Noriko exclaimed.
" Let's see what you're afraid of, magneto!" Dani yelled. She placed her hands on her head and broadcast Magneto's fears to himself.
Ian and Magneto both dropped to the ground and suddenly the room began to turn off.
" The simulations fading!" David stated.
" David, grab Ian and Josh!" Dani exclaimed.
" What's going on down there?" Xi'an asked.
" Xi'an Thank you!" Dani yelled up to the woman. She and David took Ian and Josh to Hank's medical lab as fast as they could.
" HANK! HANK! I NEED YOU!" Dani yelled.
" What is it?" Hanka sked in a hurry. he leapt down from the ceiling and took one look at the situation and snatched the two boys up into his arms and rushed them both into his lab.
About an hour later.
" They'll both be fine now. Josh wasn't too injured just a few bruises. But Ian, well... It was lucky you got him too me when you did. His entire skeleton was stripped of the adamantium." Hank told the woman.
" Is he going to be fine?" Dani asked.
" After a little rest, he'll be back to normal in no time. At least, as normal as he can be. I'm honestly surprised he survived as long as he did. That process should have killed him." Hank explained to the woman.
" Thank you, Hank." Dani told the man.
" No thanks necessary." Hank told the woman. He patted her on the shoulder and walked out of the room.
" God, Thank you so much Xi'an. If you hadn't come along when you did..." Dani spoke.
" I still don't understand, Dani. If you were all downstairs, how did the danger room activate?" Xi'an asked.
" Hey! I heard; Ian was injured. Is he alright?" Rahne asked as she ran into the room.
" All of my kids were hurt, Rahne. But they're okay now. Thanks for asking." Dani told the woman.
" Good..." Rahne replied, realizing she made a mistake. " I'm glad everyone is safe. So, how did this happen?" Rahne asked.
" I think the school is haunted." Dani replied.
" What?" Xi'an asked.
" I felt it. There was a presence in the control room before the simulation started. Definitely not alive." Dani explained to the two women.
" I thought your death-sense powers had faded, Dani?" Xi'an asked.
" I did too, but it looks like I was wrong. We need to find this ghost." Dani told the woman.
While Dani and the others were talking, Scott and Emma were interviewing the students.
" I don't know if it was a ghost, Mr. Summers. There've been a lot of weird things going on all day. To be honest I thought it was Julian messing with us, but now...." David explained, still trying to throw doubt on Julian.
" I highly doubt Julian would put you all in that much danger." Emma replied.
" Still, we have to look into every possibility." Scott told the woman.
" UghHh! Can you guys not talk so loudly?" Ian asked. " And David, stop trying to blame Julian. He didn't have a thing to do with this. You heard Dani." Ian told the boy.
" How are you feeling, Ian?" Scott asked.
" Like, shite!" Ian replied. He swung his legs off the bed and lifted himself up. " What happened?" Ian asked.
" You had the metal in your body pulled out. It's a miracle you're still alive." Emma told the boy.
" Yeah, I hear that a lot. How's Kim?" Ian asked.
" She's just fine." Scott replied.
" Glad tae her it." Ian stated. Ian got up from the bed and rubbed his neck, his body felt lighter than before.
" Hey, big brother you feeling, okay? Cause your friends want to go to dinner." Kim asked as she ran into the room
" Hm, speak of the little devil." Ian whispered.
" Yeah, we'd better go. It's way past normal dinner hour. I'm sure we'll just get everyone else's leftovers." David replied.
" I'm coming with you, food sounds amazing right now." Ian grumbled.
" That sounds good. You all go eat. Moss Frost and I will look into both matters." Scott told the kids.
" Thanks Shades!" Ian shouted. He walked out of the room almost drunkenly and stumbled towards the cafeteria.
