Chapter 2 - Chapter-1 His reward!

Eyes opening with a start, Sal looks up, well, what he thinks is up.

Looking into the surrounding void of black, something catches Sal's eye; Sal's eyes shift to the blue screens that pop up in front of his view with a noise.

*Ding*

[System binding complete, integration, and ability selection will begin now.]

[Hello, Sal, you have been rewarded for the pain you've had to go through. For having been forgotten by fate and left to a course worse than death, you have been given a second chance.]

[Your soul will be reincarnated with a game-like system for easier use. You will have a status, inventory, and this System to start. You will now receive your reward and continue with the integration process.]

[You will have three wishes; these wishes can only be used in the attainment of the System. For example, you may wish for a skill, you may wish for a unique ability, or you may wish to have a lot of money or things along those lines. There are a few limitations; you cannot choose an ability/skill that resurrects the dead, changes the timeline, create life, or grant an infinite amount of anything.]

[You can choose a world to start in, whether it's one you makeup, one you have heard about, one you have read/watched about, or a random one.]

[If you choose a world you know of, you may select a character to assimilate, take over, or become a secondary personality.]

[There will be restrictions in worlds that don't have magic, for example, you will have severe limitations. However, that doesn't mean you can't use a skill that gives you teleportation in it, for instance, as it doesn't affect the World, causing harm to it, simply allowing you to move through it.]

[Some rewards for doing quests may come from other worlds, similar to the restriction placed on skills/abilities for worlds; these rewards will also have limitations.]

Sal stares for a few seconds, not knowing how to process this. After a few moments, he 'comes' back, thinking about his wishes. There is an apparent loophole right in front of his face.

"...you cannot 'choose' an ability..."

Knowing full well there is nothing more expensive than a free meal in this worl-...existence, Sal hesitates to take advantage of it. He has already lost everything; why possibly risk losing the only second chance he has just got? It's a scary thing, human greed, and Sal knows that far better than most. However, he has never tried to steal or take more than what was given or received, so why not try it now? He deserves it; maybe all that bad luck has turned into good luck.

"Okay, can I change your name system?"

[Yes, the user may change the System's name at any time and as many times as desired.]

"Nah, only once; I want to call you Linda; that is your new name."

[The System's name has been changed to 'Linda.']

"Sweet now, can I use all of my wishes at the same time?"

[The user may do so.]

Getting the okay from Linda, Sal starts the process of thinking of what he wants. Quickly deciding what he wants, and knowing where he wants to go he continues on.

"Okay, Linda, use all my wishes."

With a high-pitched toll, vibrations start to pulse out of nowhere, leading nowhere.

*Ding*

[Your three wishes have been used, all of which relate to skills, so they are displayed as such.]

[First, wish being used, you have gained the skill {Conception}.]

[Conception Lv-1: With but a thought of the mind, you may create what you have imagined so long as you provide enough mana. This has been designated only to be related to skills; if you wish to make it, anything, you will need to use all three wishes.]

[Second wish is being used, you have gained the skill {Progressive escalation}.]

[Progressive Escalation Lv-1: The more times you do something, the higher the return, it is a flat base of one percent increase per level. For reference, if you swing an axe and you gain .01 exp, the next time you swing it, the exp received will be .0101 points. This removes the limit to your skill capacity banks. Hidden modifier revealed, your experience points will be multiplied by your level; at level one, you get a 50% increase.]

[Third skill is being used, you have gained the skill {Equidistant view}.]

[Equidistant view Lv-1: This is the highest form of thought enhancement obtainable with a wish. For each level, you receive a multiplied fold of the level number. A 25x your base speed enhances your thought process; you may cognitively control this. Raising your agility which increases your reaction time, aka thought process, increases your base reaction time, so you will, on base condition, receive the 25x increase unconditionally. For example if your agility is 12, it's still multiplied by 25, say you level up and it rises to 15, it will still be multiplied by 25, therefore raising you agility itself raises the effect of the increase.]

*DING DING*

[Congratulations for finding a loophole, your received prize will be excha-

[HIDDEN QUEST COMPLETED]

[Find the loophole.]

[Desription: Find the loophole set by Linda, it is highly recommended the user selects a world within the next 30 or lose all gained rewards for diminishing returns.]

[Reward: Three abilities have been given to you.

1. Everlasting growth: You no longer have growth restrictions. This only applies to skills; if mutated, it may eventually spread to your level and stats.

2. Flash memory: Every event you've witnessed can be viewed through a flash card. Grants edict memory and enhanced memory vividity.

3. Gamer makeup: This skill gives all the basic things a game-like character would have, such as, {Gamers mind}, {Gamers body}, {Appraisal}, and so forth. For enhanced description, click the button*.]

Falling to the ground on his back, Sal gets the air knocked out of him, which doesn't make sense because he's dead. Groggily taking in his surroundings, he finds himself in a white expanse with nothing but a brown chair and table to his left. Sal walks over to see a small image of a twelve-year-old Hiccup. Looking at the panels of text on each side of the screen closer, he realizes it's literally his character appearance he can change.

Hair color, skin color, eye color, how tall he will get, his facial features, body shape he'll grow into, and even the size of his white mamba. Everything about my body can be changed; one thing he also notices is a tiny little button, down in the left corner. It reads 'Metabolism rate,' along with 'testosterone level.' There are two options for TL, one for puberty and one for after puberty. As one would think, Sal is going to up the hell out of the former as one; not only is it a good energy boost, but two, it makes your voice deeper.

As far as one goes with that, upping the one for later in life would be excellent too. It promotes hair growth, bodily functions, and keeps a more robust body overall. Increased metabolism, maxed, it's just a plus no matter how Sal looks at it; well, maybe not max as he doesn't want to be as thin as Hiccup. Sal changes his hair color to white, with deep blue eyes and gold flecks, but he doesn't change his face. Hiccup already has a chick magnet face; however, Sal decreases body fat in his younger body as he has quite a bit of it. Young, Hiccup looks meh, and now that Sal has a chance to look however he wants, he will take it.

He makes his white mamba a size he hopes is okay for his future wife if he even gets the girl, standing around 9 inches. Of course, that's how big it will grow to about 16-17 years old, while his 13-year-old body gets 5.5. He knows from reading that in his old world, you should wait until you are 18 at least to do that; however, this world, although not stated, seems to be younger. Sal has no practice in this field, so he hopes he can do it right from what he read.

Of course, as any young teen that has access to the internet, well, used to, he looked up things that are not of innocent origin. Once you look those things up, you learn from them what a Gee-spot is, what a klit is, that some girls are more sensitive than others and that some find it painful to have those said areas played with. Since he learned about them, Sal will ensure that if he gets the chance to do that with a girl, he will try to make it feel really good.(Gotta remember mc is psychologically fucked up, and is underdeveloped in areas one wouldn't normally be.)

Having finished everything, he starts to think about what comes next.

"Linda, when I go in, is it possible to already have my skills activated, or do I have any unlock conditions I need to meet?"

[Your skills will be activated immediately once you are shifted into place. Because your Character was so heavily modified, your backstory had changed a little. When you were little, you contracted a disease of unknown origin that changed your looks. Your personality was set to match yours; as such, you will receive the memories of your childhood so as not to stand out.]

"Awesome, thanks Linda, you're the best!"

As one would guess, Sal intentionally ignored that something tried to mess with him during his 'integration'.

'I mean, what's the point in it? I'm using the System they had some influence in, which means they have to be super powerful just because they can do that. Wait, they must have created it; they even said, 'MY' system, when it stated it wanted Linda back. Damn, if that's the case, I hope he can't track Linda or mess with her. I guess the only thing I can do is hope; other than that, I can also plan for what happens next. '

"Linda, when you put me in, can you hold on to the memories before you give them to me? I don't want to miss the shot at getting Toothless and make sure that my [Equidistant view] is turned all the way up, please."

[Confirmed, Linda will withhold memory assimilation until you permit it to continue, {Equidistant view} will be set to total capacity as soon as you breach the stagnation phase.]

"Alright, Linda, send me in; I'm as ready as I can- WAIT, can I make a night vision skill?!"

[As you have not breached the stagnation phase, you may do so at the cost of losing some of your intelligence and wisdom stats. The skill {Shade vision Lv-1} will cost you one stat point of each said stat/attribute. Do you wish to confirm skill creation?"

"Confirm, haha, here I come, Toothless; we'll be the best of pals! Send me in now, Linda; I'm ready."

[Confirmed, stagnation phase is being breached, all skills are set to maximum output, sending in three, two, one!"
