WHOOSH
Feeling the wind rush past my face, chilling my cheeks and ruffling my hair, I pump my legs harder, wanting to run as fast as the wind.

'Stats description…strength looks the same, agility too… Oh, wisdom and intelligence are different.
INT: This represents how fast you can process information.
WIS: This represents how much information you can process.
So, INT would determine how smart my second thought is, while WIS is how many parallel thoughts I can have going simultaneously. Of course, since I have a skill for it, it would seem unnecessary as it is another thought, plain and simple.
*Ding!*
[Sprinting Lvl-1 > Lvl-2]
'OHHHOHOHOO!'
[2% -> 4%]
Helpless to resist, I smile broadly.
'This is fucking awesome. OH, right, appraisal. HAHAHA, let's get to it!'
Looking at a tree trying to picture a screen popping up with info on it, sure enough, it does.
[Old oak tree: Sturdy, resistant to the cold and heat, a hardy tree overall. Proliferates due to the dragon dung acting as a fertilizer.]
'Hah! That's more descriptive than I thought it'd be.'
CRACK
With a misplaced step, I crane forward. Jabbing my right hand in front of me onto the ground, I use the momentum from my body, flipping it over and landing on my feet, albeit roughly.
*Ding!*
[New skill acquired, {Parkour}.]
[Parkour: Increases your sense of balance by 2%. Increases your explosive speed by .5%]
'Oh man...thank you, thank you whoever you are, for giving me another chance.'
Shining little droplets, fling back into the wind leaving behind a trail of joyous sorrow.
"Huh?"
In his rush, Hiccup didn't notice the little flashing mailbox in the top right of his vision.
'Well, that looks fun.'
Focusing on it, it expanded in his vision. Of course, he was focused on moving through the forest, while his other little thinker proceeded to open his 'mail'…not that thinker, nor that kind of mail either.

Acquisition complete, please see your CS(character sheet) for more details.
Immediately afterward something extraordinary happened. First I felt this warm and gentle energy, course through my body before resting right below my belly button.
Suddenly, both my mana, and chakra, flooded into my head, almost coating it before it coalesced towards the top and center of it.
Then everything went to hell. My senses exploded, I could feel the hairs on my arms brush along my skin under the shifting of my shirt. The dirt to my right has some type of rodent digging a burrow it seemed.
The scuffling of a squirrel, jumping from branch to branch. Birds flitting through the air, right above the canopy of trees, and the powerful breaths of a large beas-
'Ah, that's toothless!'
It was incredible, I'd never felt the world in such a surreal way ever before.
Everything felt so alive, pulsing and flourishing, running, skittering, waiting to pounce.
Then it all shut off...
Like a switch being flipped.
'Huh? What happened?'
[Sensory ability Lvl-1: The ability to.....finger on the ground. This is an active skill. 1 MP or CP, every ten seconds. Alt- .5 MP and .5 CP every ten seconds.]
Checking his CS, he noticed that he now had
CP: 89.5
His MP also was 89.5 now.
'So why'd it shut off?'
Ding*
ーAnswer: When you gain a skill, the system allows it to be used once, then engraves the flow of mana into the user's memory so the user can remember how to activate it. The secondary initiation option is setting a keyword to activate said skill. Whether said aloud or conscientiously the skill will still activate upon the activation word being proclaimed.
'I mean…that's fucking sweet haha, anyway why did it use both mana and chakra when it was activated?'
ーAnswer: When skill synchronization is in progress, the optimal user state is left in wake of a difficult skill being learned. For example, if you learn a mana-intensive skill, then said skill draws in too much of your mana or chakra then you would be left in a non-optimal state, therefore as the energy usage could be split between the two energies such course was taken to put a lesser strain on the user.
'Well damn, thanks Linda.'
'Okay then, I'll try to go the manipulation route for the moment instead of word activation.'
Immediately I sat down crisscross-apple-sauce. The cooler word here would be the lotus position so we'll use that instead from now on.
'Thinking of the countless ways manipulating these things have been described in anime, manga, light novels, web novels, and manhwa. Everything. Everything I had at my fingertips to work with, will show me the way to grow strong.'
Starting with mana, let's get it to move. Sitting as still as I could, I felt around inside my body.
Lungs…in…out.
Heart…badum, badum…badum, badum.
Stomach…gurgle…gurgle…
'There!'
It was flowing under my skin, along my veins, and through my body. Trying to order it with my mind to move, it did, though incredibly slowly.
First, it was a trickle, like a dripping of water from a faucet not closed all the way. Then a little dribble, slowly but surely I moved it around. I brought it to my fingers, and weaved it through my arms legs, feet, and toes, before bringing it back to a rest.
Now I just need to find where it pools and try to pull some from it. Before I could, a Ding* went off bringing me out of my revere and concentration.

"…Haha, this is awesome."
Clearing all the screens in my view, I get up and dust myself off.
"Let's go make a new best friend Linda."
Creeping through the forest is a whole different experience. Shortly after I started my nighttime prowl, I started trying to use that sensing skill again.
Of course, after that title it felt like a cakewalk, it moved as if it was my own hand. Fluidly, and precisely. As soon as I coated my head and brain the same way as I was shown, my senses expanded rapidly. Once again I could feel all of the creatures scattered around.
Then I felt Toothless, he's like a Nightfury-sized lightbulb. It was hard to miss him.
Strangely, as I got closer, he seemed to sense me. I assumed he heard me as that's the only way he would have known I was coming.
'Okay…time to put on the act of a lifetime.'
Slowly I crept closer, inching my way along. Right as I got in front of him, his eyes snapped onto me. Just like in the movie…he's scared, and he doesn't want to die it's plain as day.
_________
'I'm sorry bud, I promise to make it up to you with as much fish as you want for the rest of your life.'
Reaching for the knife at his waist, Hiccup grabs it by the handle and squares it up in front of himself.
"Alright dragon, hah(fake panting), I'm gonna kill you. I'm gonna rip out your heart and take it to my father."
Slowly he changes his grab to a reverse hold with both hands above his head. His breathing intensified giving the impression he was hesitating.
And hesitating he was, for he didn't want to kill the dragon. Closing his eyes, he builds his courage…then losses it. He tried once more…and failed again.
Dropping down to the floor with a flop. He couldn't do it, he couldn't kill the dragon.
Sitting there my breathing returns to 'normal'. I shift my face to look at Toothless concerned.
After shifting my sight downwards and resting there for a moment, I get up.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
With Toothless snapping his eyes open, he stared at me, hard. I whip the knife out and start to saw at the rope.
*SNAP*
The first rope came off clean, releasing the pressure on Toothless. This doesn't go unnoticed by the dragon.
*SHASHISHISHA*
*SNAP*
Another rope snapped, and with a mighty lunge, the dragon pounced on Hiccup.
With his head shooting forward too quickly for Hiccup to react he sinks his teeth into his right shoulder.
'WHAT'S GOING ON?! WHY DIDN'T IT GO LIKE THE MOVIE!? WAS MY ACTING BAD?!'
With a swing of his head, Toothless launches Hiccup into the bushes and bramble.
