Chapter 2 - •2•

I look at Mat with an attempt of my usual smile, that currently looks more like I'm getting tortured.

Amatheo stays looking at me for a moment before rolling his eyes, probably accepting the fact that his sister wasn't even close to normal.

He pulls down my headphones beso they're hanging around my neck.

Amatheo

Mom and dad have been calling us for over 5 minutes, where you sleeping with your eyes open or what?!

Before I'm able to say anything a tired yawn escapes me, proving him right. And with that he climbs out of the car leaving me there as I try to force some kind of reaction from my body.

I get tired of my slow thinking and although I'm about to regret it I rub my eyes before giving my cheeks a few soft slaps. Biting my tongue softly to force me completely awake I unlocked my seatbelt and jumped out of the car.

Stumbling slightly to my feet I stretch my arms as high as I can leaning back, almost reaching the bridge pose, before going to the front reaching the ground easily.

When I stand back straight my hand moves to my neck as I yawn again and notice my mother looking at me.

Mom

Still don't know where that ability of your's to fold over came from! Cuz I certainly have never been able to do that...

I smile at her too tired to laugh. Dad walks by me holding a few bags and bumps his shoulder with mine, with a big smirk.

Dad

Oh that's obviously my inheritance! You just look.

And like that he drops the bags on the ground and starts trying to imitate me, I look at him worry filling both my me and my mom's eyes.

But as I watch him lean back quite a bit for a man his age my look turns impressed although mom just stares at him annoyed.

We can soon all hear a clack as my dear father falls to the ground looking exhausted.

My mom gives him no look of pity as she stands there with her arms crossed.

Mom

Go on get up on your own if you're so full of youth! You're no longer 20, Antonio, get that into that thick skull of your's.

She helps my dad up and they both walk into the new house...

Wait new house! I can almost see myself as one of those animé characters with their eyes glowing as they stare at something.

The house is simply beautiful! There isn't much of a front yard, but mom told me the backyard was big enough for me to set up my training. The porch has a few hanging chairs positioned just right to look at the woods on the other side of the road and I can just see myself spending my weekend nights there, drawing the forest and night sky.

The house has two floors that I'll definitely be exploring as soon as I can, but for now....

I need my hours of sleep!
