Chapter 3 - In The Game

****************

Night is it in Agrah when Sean appeared. The first thing Sean saw was a house, there was no lights on the house but the door is opened. There a flashlight at the door step of the house and blood. Sean went to the doorpost and took the flashlight, he looked at the bllod on the ground; whoever owned that blood was draged away from the house.

Sean entered into the house, it was neat and we'll arranged. The smell of blood from outside kept giving him a turning stomach

"Hello…Hello…is anybody home?...Hello"

Sean got no reply so entered into the house. Except from the smell, he didn't care about the outside or who died. If it was five years ago he might be afraid of blood but after having an accident and witnessed the death of his parents, bloods and corpses are not as irritating as people think

Cautiously, he took a step and then another, ensuring there is no trap on the house. With the danger level of this game, he couldn't let his gaurd down. He have to do all things carefully or he might die.

Sean search the whole house and found no one in it. He was about to get out of it when he saw the dinning table, he went there. There is a plate of food on it, this verified his motion of there is only one person on this house and he was murdered, probably by the devils. Sean saw a note on the table, beside the food. He took the note and read it

"I'm supposed to be eating now but the devils are at my door post, I locked the door but it's not going to hold them for long. If they breakthrough and kidnap or kill me, my daughter is in the kitchen, inside the freezer. To whoever read this, please protect her, do not let her get killed by the devils"

The note ended in such a pathetic way. Sean was on his way to the kitchen but he remembered, be have to equipment with him.

What if the note is a trap, he will need a weapon to protect himself

Only such irrational fear can make Trina snap out of her sleeping position without considering my head which hit a tree.

She groan, gripping it.

She blink, trying to focus to see my room wall instead of the dead forest where the wall should be. Squeezing her eyes closed, she opened them again. Her hands drop to my waist and she stared

The trees are still present. Their branches spread in the air, casting their shadow on my face, rattling a cool morning breeze that makes her shiver. Wild flowers litter the grasses area around her, dancing in the wild.

Her slapped her cheek slightly to make sure she isnot stuck in a dream. This place…certainly seems real. She can also hear the sounds of running water which clarifies the existence of a nearby stream. There is also a bridge before her

"Where the hell I am, could I have played myself to death? Does this bridge leads to heaven"

Her head hurts badly than for her to freak out, it's definitely a pretty end to her freaking weekend.

"Oh Sean, my poor Sean" deep sorrow was building in her heart at the thought of not seeing her brother again. The grasses started moving from afar until it gets to her and what she saw was a wolf; Warg. Now she realised she is in a game

"Are you the priest?" A male voice came from the wolf as it turns human

Trina stared at him and screamed as his brown eyes gaze never left her

"Stay away from me" she shouted

Maybe this isn't heaven. She staggered to her feet, smash to her knees and then stumbled up again.

She fling her arms out to either side to help her balance. The ground isn't moving, but it feels like it is. When her head stops spinning, and she is fairly confident she won't fall, she look again at the half-man . . . thing. He's dressed in brown leather leggings and a long shirt cinched at his waist by a thick belt. A sword dangles from the belt.

From the neck down, he's a man in every way Trina can see, from his very human hands and fingers to normal shaped feet in boots.

But his head . . .

"What are you?" Trina ask.

He's watching her closely with his round wolf eyes, his jaw open in a noiseless pant. He hasn't moved out of his crouch, as if he's trying to figure her out the way she is "You are from the worldof men?,"

"I'm pretty sure I'm not from here." Trina gaze around in confusion. "This isn't heaven, is it?"

He laughs, a strange, half-growl, half-guffaw.

She take a step back.

"The dark sun circle has never been mistaken for heaven," he replies.

Dark Sun Circle?

"Hey!" someone shouts from the other side of the bridge

Trina turn, gripping her head again at the sudden movement. A man - a normal man - is standing in similar clothing in the middle of the bridge. His tunic is white and bears the symbol of a tree on it.

"Will you be claiming that girl?" he calls to the man with the wolf head. He has a Cockney accent Trina have trouble understanding.

"She's on our land!" The wolf-man snarls, standing. "You would be wise to heed my warning. If you come over here, none of the gods will stand between you and my master!"

The other guy is hanging out in the middle of the bridge. It's clear he's not going to cross it and he can't be blamed

"Did you say Dark Sun Circle?" Trina ask the wolf man

"Yes." He glances at Trina then returns his golden glare to the man with the tree on his shirt.

"No, really. Dark Sun Circle?"

Yes"

"Terrifying, isn't it?" the man on the bridge calls. "The Fox Factionis at peace and ruled by a man nothing like the beast of Dark Sun Circle."

"My master is not a beastt!" Wolf-man retorts.

Trina's ears are buzzing and she is starting starting to think she either didn't wake up or she woke up in hell.

"Is your master Alpha Brutus?" Trina asked "The one with a wolf's head who knows no mercy and chops off the heads of pretty much everyone he meets?"

"Yes." The wolf man says with a hint of pride.

"He'll deflower and kill you. Come to us and we will treat you well. Our last circle priest was made a lady and died of old age," the man the bridge yells

At least, Trina think that is what he says. His accent is heavy enough at she is filling in some of the words.

Dark Sun Circle, Alpha Brutus, Priest

Trina rack her brain. There must be a reasonable explanation for what's going on. Perhaps she didn't wake up from a weird dream? Or did my misery turn into an all-out break with reality?

It's all she can think of. She can't remember most of last night after cracking open a second bottle of wine. This place certainly seems real, from the cool mist settling into the trees to the freak show beside me.

But it can't be real. If she is going to be summoned by a game, it could have been a better story mission; those with civilization and peaceful atmosphere, not one with a ruthless Alpa.

The two are arguing. She is having difficulty making out their words and more trouble standing. She sink onto the ground and stare, dazed, confused, horrified. There's a tiny voice in her head telling her that if she thought her life was bad before, it just got a helluva lot worse.

Wolf-man clasps her shoulder and kneels before her

"I claim you in the name of the Alpha Brutus of Dark Sun Circle. Do not go over to that man. They will deflower and kill you." He places something heavy and cold in Trina's hand. "This will grant you safe passage through our kingdom, should you need it. I will not be gone long." He stands and leaves.

' isn't it me that is supposed to control the wolf and subdue the priest, now I happen to be the summoned priest" Trina thought

It takes her a minute before the sensation of wanting to faint passes. She is clutching a black jade or obsidian medallion with strange carvings strung on a thick, worn piece of leather. Studying it, she is trying not to be weirded out by how heavy and real it feels, as if this whole place isn't a flimsy dream that'll dissipate soon.

"How can this be real? I'm perfectly sane. Psychosis brought on by mental trauma sounds more likely than I am stuck in a game".

"M'lady." Another voice calls from the bridge.

Looking up, her gaze lingers.

Wow. Dressed in a rich red cloak lined with fur, the brunet man coming towards her has the chiseled features of a model. He's smiling, a perfect, white, even grin, that renders him boyish, charming
