The whiteboard in front of the class was full of various formulas with a middle-aged man explaining each formula.
"Do you understand what I have explained?" said the middle-aged man.
"Yes sir!" said all the students in the class.
The middle-aged man who was their teacher then closed the marker he was holding and looked back at his students
"Okay, then I want to tell you that today is our last meeting. Because starting tomorrow our school will have a holiday during the winter," said the middle-aged man.
The sound of happy cheers immediately sounded from within the classroom because of the encouraging news from their teacher.
Of course, they were all very happy with the news of the winter break. Who doesn't like holidays? All humans on this earth must love holidays because they can do fun things during the holidays.
"Attention! But remember! You have to keep studying and doing the school assignments that have been given to you. You all understand?!" said the middle-aged man.
"We understand sir!"
The school bell immediately rang right after their teacher informed them of the news of the winter break.
"Alright kids, see you again after winter break," the middle-aged man then walked out of the classroom with his books.
The students in the class immediately put their textbooks into their respective bags and then walked out of the class because it was time for them to go home.
Likewise, with Beatrice who had just put her books into her bag, she was the only one left in the classroom.
She was deliberately waiting for everyone in her class to come out first. Because she felt better if she was the last one out of the class.
"Beatrice!"
Beatrice who heard the voice calling her immediately turned back and she saw her friend who had entered her class.
"Alyssa, are you waiting for me?" asked Beatrice.
Alyssa nodded her head. "Yeah, I was waiting for you. We're going home together right?"
Beatrice nodded her head. "Yes, we will go home together," said Beatrice who then smiled.
"Good! Then, hurry up and clean up your things," said Alyssa cheerfully.
After packing up their things, Beatrice and Alyssa walked out of the classroom with them walking side by side.
Every day is like this, Beatrice and Alyssa always go home together because sometimes Alyssa wants to visit Beatrice's house after school.
What for? Of course to spend time with Beatrice and do other fun things.
Well... that's what we called girl's time.
The two of them walked on the sidewalk, laughing occasionally because they were talking about funny things that made them laugh.
"Beatrice, tomorrow the winter break will start," said Alyssa.
Beatrice nodded her head. "Yeah, I heard it from my teacher during class earlier."
Beatrice and Alyssa were indeed in the same class, at first they were in the same class but they were in the different class when they went up to the second class.
And that of course made Beatrice feel very sad because she wished she was back in the same class as Alyssa when she went to second grade but fate said otherwise.
"Then, do you have a plan?" asked Alyssa.
Beatrice shook her head. "No, I don't have any plans," Beatrice replied.
This was not the first time their school had a winter break. And like the previous winter break, Beatrice did nothing at all. She was only in her flat and occasionally went out just to buy food.
It didn't feel like the two of them had arrived at Beatrice's flat. It was because Beatrice's flat was not too far from their school.
Alyssa stopped in her tracks. "Okay then, see you later!"
"You don't want to go inside first?" said Beatrice.
Alyssa shook her head. "Next time."
"Okay, bye-bye..." Beatrice waved her hand which was replied by Alyssa who had walked away from Beatrice's flat.
Because Alyssa was gone, Beatrice went into her flat and closed the door tightly.

The sun has been replaced by the moon so the sky has turned dark with stars that adorn the night sky. And the dark sky was a sign for a woman who was lying on the bed to watch her favorite movies.
"Let's see... what movie to watch," said Beatrice, who was choosing what movie to watch tonight.
Until the choice fell on a romantic movie which recently was very much liked by people at her school which finally made Beatrice also feel interested in watching the movie they always talked about.
The movie started playing, and Beatrice found a comfortable position on the bed to watch the movie.
Like this every night, Beatrice would always watch a movie until she fell asleep watching it. It's because she sometimes has a hard time falling asleep so those movies can make her fall asleep.
Beatrice was holding her cell phone as she watched the movie with occasional squinting.
Have you forgotten the glasses that were broken by Valery? That's why she currently doesn't wear glasses, which makes it quite difficult for her to watch the movie.
She did not feel she had watched the film for 25 minutes until suddenly an advertisement appeared on her cellphone screen.

Once again she saw her reflection in the mirror, Beatrice touched her reflection in the mirror.
"I'll change this," said Beatrice.
She brushed away the hair that was blocking her face. Now she could see her face so clearly. "Yeah... I'll change everything. There's no more nerd Beatrice," Beatrice said confidently to herself.

Inside the simple house, you can see Alyssa who has just woken up from her sleep. She just woke up at 10:00 am and the first thing she did was to check her cell phone which she had charged by her bedside.
Alyssa opened her cell phone password and saw what notifications she received and one of those notifications caught her attention.
She immediately opened the notification message.
"Beatrice?" said Alyssa who then read the message.
And after reading Beatrice's message, she immediately got out of bed and walked to the bathroom.
No need to wait long, now Alyssa already looks neat with the pink jacket she is wearing. Alyssa was seen in a hurry to get out of the house, she ran on the sidewalk until she finally got on a bus.
Alyssa spent fifteen minutes on the journey until she finally arrived at her destination.
Alyssa walks into the park which looks deserted. She walked through the park while looking to the right side as well as to the left. Then she saw someone on the other end who looked like she was running.
She immediately approached the person and after a while, she could see who it was.
"Beatrice!" call Alyssa.
That's right, the person who was running was her friend Beatrice.
Alyssa was now in front of Beatrice and she saw Beatrice who was already drenched in sweat and also looked exhausted.
"What are you doing Beatrice?" asked Alyssa.
Beatrice wiped her sweat. "I'm working out. I sent you a message, didn't you read it?" asked Beatrice.
"I read your message. But you sent me that message at seven in the morning," Alyssa then silent for a moment. "Have you been exercising since seven in the morning?!"
The reason Alyssa was silent was that she was thinking. If Beatrice sent the message to her at 07:00 am and she only read it at 10:00 am, it means that Beatrice has been in this park since 4 hours ago.
Beatrice nodded her head. "Yeah, I've been in this park since seven in the morning," Beatrice answered and smiled.
Alyssa immediately gaped in surprise at the answer Beatrice gave her. "Beatrice, you don't have to push yourself too hard like this," Alyssa said worriedly.
She was worried that Beatrice would push herself too hard to do all these things, especially if Beatrice would fall ill because of all this.
Beatrice looked at Alyssa. "I did all these things of my own accord. And I also promised myself that I would change everything."
Last night she had promised herself that she had to change her appearance. She didn't want to be bullied and bullied again.
"You promised to help me, didn't you? Then help me and repay all of Valery's actions," said Beatrice holding Alyssa's hand. "By making her surprised to see me when winter break is over."
