As the winds subsided and the dust cloud cleared, the dark figure's eyes fell upon the 2 figures, and his heart sank.
"Who...who are these unknown people?" he stammered in fear. "How can they be so… so…!" His thoughts were in disarray, and he was shaken to the core as he wracked in pain.
Chang Jianhong stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with a sense of authority. "We are the Guardians, defenders of this Town and this Globe World," he announced with a calm yet commanding voice. "And you, sneaking rat, are a threat to the peace and prosperity of this town. Your presence here is not welcome."
Hearing Chang Jianhong's Statement, the Zhang Yu present had a questionable expression on his complexion.
"What is this man thinking?" Zhang Yu muttered as he chuckled a little.
"What is this nonsense? If you were truly such unfathomable beings, why wouldn't I know of you? Who exactly are you people?" His words reverberated through the vast town square.
A fleeting moment of silence followed, as the inquiry of the dark figure reverberated across the expanse of the large town square.
—
As Chang Jianhong and Zhang Yu dealt with the shadowy figure, the others worked around the town to restore the structures of the town and help the people.
"Such destruction... What are they doing?" Zhao Fengge thought as he waved his hands and in a single moment of a few seconds several of the buildings in the vicinity were restored to their original state.
He then joined his hands together as huge flow of energy surged around him and covered a large area with people in an instant as he proceeded to heal everyone.
"Aagh!" A woman nearby groaned in pain.
"A..ahhh...!" Another person groaned in pain.
One after another everyone under the surging flow of energy's influence felt extreme pain and groaned.
"What is happening...?" Zhao Fengge thought as his expression turned grim. "I'm trying to heal them but instead of feeling better they seem to be suffering more."
"Please stop it!" At that moment a sound came from not too far away.
Zhao Fengge turned his face towards the source of the sound and saw Mei Ling not too far away.
"Very well," He said as the energy flow was stopped.
"Miss Mei, what is the meaning of this?" He asked with a troubled expression howering in his face.
This was totally unexpected and something that he had never seen ever happening before.
"Sir Zhao, were you trying to heal them?" Mei Ling asked as she looked at the wounded lying on the ground.
"That is right. But for some reason they seemed to be in pain due to it," Zhao Fengge explained.
"I see," Mei Ling muttered as she thought for a moment in silence and then continued.
"Well, that must be because they are not used to your ways, I suppose it would be better to refrain from trying to heal any of them using your energy," She replied.
"I see," Zhao Fengge thought, "So, not only are the people here unable to cultivate but are also somehow negatively affected by it when it is passed into their body," He concluded.
Mei Ling further added, "Please pass this information to your other allies as well so that we could avoid this issue in future."
"Very well, I will do that," Zhao Fengge said as he nodded and returned to restoring the fallen structures.
Mei Ling then took a look at the wounded people and assured their safety as her other companions arrived before continuing further onto her path ahead.

The tempestuous wind gradually abated, generating a gentle rustling sound, while the two figures, draped in their pristine white robes, stood tall and resolute. Their hair, fluttering with the fleeting winds, adding to their already imposing presence.
"We don't need to boast about our identities, our actions speak for themselves," Chang Jianhong replied, his gaze never leaving the dark figure.
"Pray tell, what are your intentions?" Zhang Yu inquired, his visage turning grave and sombre.
"Tsk-" The dark figure grunted in response, spewing forth a stream of blood from his mouth, his entire physique wracked with excruciating pain.
"I'm doomed," he ruminated, taking in his surroundings, bereft of any solace, except for the swirling clouds of dust that the impact had generated, and the colossal crater that lay below him, inscrutable and abysmal.
After a protracted pause, and no satisfactory answers forthcoming, the two exchanged looks, each from their respective vantage points and shook their heads.
"We came here with the intention of catching Senior Li Mingze's attention, but it appears that he is disinclined to budge," ruminated Chang Jianhong, as he heaved a sigh and cast a gaze towards the apex of the Grand Tower.
"Very well. Let us proceed," declared Zhang Yu, his tranquil yet authoritative voice resonating throughout the vast expanse of the Town Square.
Soon enough, the bodies of the two figures began to emanate an ethereal aura, suffused with the glow of mystic hues.
The surroundings were thrown into a tumultuous state, as a titanic amount of Qi coalesced around the two, enveloping them in a corona of mystical energies, which seemed to intensify with every passing moment.
The sheer force of their collective might was enough to set the area trembling and quivering with trepidation, as if it was cowering in fear of them.
An overwhelming force began to emanate from their presence alone, accentuating their imposing presence, as they braced themselves to strike the mysterious stranger in unison.
As the Previous Imperial Admiral stood tall and resolute, a magnificent and imposing long sword materialized behind him.
The weapon was a sight to behold, standing hundreds of feet tall, with a striking Bluish Purple glow emanating from its body. Intricate gold patterns adorned its surface, lending it an ethereal and divine quality.
This was the Nightstream Sword Art, a powerful technique that only the most accomplished members of the Imperial Military were granted access to.
To be deemed worthy of such an honor, one had to attain Admiralty before reaching the century mark, a feat few were able to achieve.
The power of the sword seemed to surpass the boundaries of common world, capable of piercing the highest of skies.
Meanwhile, behind the Previous Alliance Admiral, a colossal ball of Pinkish-Blue, scorching flame appeared, spanning a few hundreds of feet in diameter.
Its fiery radiance extended for several kilometers in every direction, casting a brilliant and imposing light upon the entire town. The flame seemed to possess an otherworldly quality, lending it an ethereal and divine presence.
This was the Sun's Scarlet Flame Art, a technique said to be of unmatched power and prestige, granted only to those who had achieved Admiralty in the Alliance Military before passing the century mark.
The sheer magnitude of the flame suggested that it possessed the power to incinerate several Great Foes and conquer all who opposed it.
Just as the two were about to launch their coordinated assault, a voice spoke out, halting their momentum in its tracks. "Calm down, milords," came the suave yet commanding voice of Luo Yin, his countenance marked with a smile.
